Forget about these black athletes committing crimes. A ton of athletes will go broke because they lack the social skills to know how to leave within their means. Both Ben and Kobe are scum.
But black athletes tend to get involved in more serious incidents where people are paralyzed or shot-perhaps because of who they hang with. Ray Lewis, Dante Stallworth, and Pacman Jones were involved in incidents where someone died or was paralyzed, & none received more coverage than Ben's rape charge.

Stephan A. Smith has always impressed me. He's intelligent, insightful, unassuming, and un- offending. Even when I don't agree completely with him, I still can't help respecting his opinions. It's about time he's gotten more popularity. I'm not familiar with this subject, but I'm not surprised Smith isn't hiding his feelings because of race. I'd like to see what he thinks of the problems facing Penn State. Paterno couldn't have been ignorant of his buggering associate. We'll know soon I hope.

@JulesAndVincent54 I agree that the man is obviously intelligent, but I'm tired of the type of announcer who thinks that the validity of his opinion is in direct correlation to the volume of the manner in which it is delivered. I rarely ever listen to a whole segment of his because he just gets louder and louder as he goes.

There are certain aspects of ghetto black culture that love lawlessness. Hell, we got niggers singing drug dealer carols! Anyone every heard of that song "Tony Montana"? A small percentage of the black culture gives more respect to drug dealers and people who go to prison then those that pursue higher education. They call that mentality "keep it real". He's probably been the most positive influence as a Hip Hop artist around the world, and it was white Record and movie executives that really got behind him and pushed him.
