  • Dai Vernon is the perfect example of why you should be a true student of magic, know the legends that paved the way,not just the tricks.

  • R.I.P.

  • to think, he actually fooled houdini!!!

  • FAvourite magician!

  • Simplemente Magestuoso! Una leyenda,,

Gracias por todos tus aportes Maestor Dai Vernon =)

  • The greatest magician of all time

  • man i can't believe it he studied magic for more than 70 years wow he must have alot of knowledge

  • street cups and balls by 'gazzo'.wow its almost the exact routine.i cant believe what im seeing.dai vernon is the best!!!

  • Arguably the greatest magician of all time. my personal favorite is ed marlo though

  • Marlo has nothing on the Professor.

  • he's incredible.. : )

got a good sense of humar as well lol :P

  • woot!

    legendary!

You know Michael Ammar trained under Dai Vernon, (well studied with him). Thats why there styles have some same stuff in it.

  • Don't say anything About Dai Vernon Who the fuck are you to say that ? a fucking Retard ? Yea that's what i thought !

  • @Darkkard33 Who was this comment for? What did they say? Not trying to make you mad, liek you anybody who would talk bad about Dai would get the same response from me.

  • dude when we see some split fans, cobra cuts, and some manipulation routines THEN you can say shit about Dai.

  • lol your attacking a comment from over a year ago, don't even remember what I said. And split fans and cobra cuts are hardly what I'd call difficult especially since its markedly different than Dai Vernon's style. I'd expect you to be telling me to show off some false deals lol

  • ok if its not "difficult" lets see some proof of you doing it then

  • I don't have a webcam and I don't really want one. If your friggen name is magician I'm assuming you understand routines and a good trick is more important than flourishes. And anyways, you wanna impress someone with showy flourishes go learn the trilogy, now those are some difficult card manipulations. But like I said I'm not even a fan of showy card flourishes I prefer the stuff Vernon was famous for, actual sleights.

  • And ya cobra cut is impressive but its really stupid and cannot fit into a routine at all, more of a gimmick. Split fan just isn't that hard

  • I wish i could of met him. He is extremely smooth with presentation and performance. The routine flows. I have never seen such a smooth cup penetration before. A legend forever.

  • can nobody put a better video on of this. 1 without all the jiggeling about of the camera please

  • I bet this guy (heelfan1234) cant even preform any of the tricks that he is exposing. I realize that magic is an art form and takes great skill so there is nothing wrong with letting lymen know some simple tricks. Maybe theyll respect the art form more if they know how much skill it actually takes. But this guy is probably parroting what he's heard from real magicians.

  • @james3v6 Yes actually I can perform the cups and balls. And do the wand spins etc etc All the final loads were made from his back trouser pocket. That's why he stood up so he could get at them easier. Anything you want me to expose on this routine I can for you so you will know how it's done.

  • I had never seen Dai Vernon... wow, he was really great. What a smooth performance. You can learn a lot by watching both Dai and Mike Ammar. The routines are similar, but their styles are so different but they are both so smooth. Wow, really impressive! Thanks again for posting this

    pre-betamax gem.

  • Dai Vernon is a living legend, I wish I could turn back time so I could be in his century.

  • Um... Dai Vernon isn't living anymore.

  • lol dumbass hes not a living legend hes a legend.

  • I didn't say living you retard.

  • The master.Best magician ever.

  • lol as the video goes on, the people behind Dai get restless because they can't see what's going on.

  • I love it Lightning. I hope you're joking, but since you don't know how to spell anything, I'm guessing you're not. No trick photography here, it's the real deal.

  • um...you are an idiot and clearly know nothing about magic. Dai Vernon was Michael Ammar's mentor...Ammar borrowed material from Vernon, with his permission. Also, do not ask anyone to post how something is done. If you really want to know, buy the DVD. It is Michael Ammar's "The Complete Cups and Balls: Volume 2." And no!! none of this is trick photography....you are an idiot. Chriss Angel is not a magician. He is an entertainer

  • relax child

  • This can be found in Ammar's C&B dvd

  • First time I've seen Vernon perform; great - thank you.

  • Beautiful!

  • see at the end where ammar just walks in. thats why the performance is alike becuas ethis is ammars cups and balls dvd

  • yes ammar did study under dai vernon thats why its so similiar

  • ammar studied under dai, and dai is/was the master so yeah they're gonna look similar...

  • when was this recorded

  • The Professor - a genius who inspire much of modern magic

  • He will be missed, he's funny, incredibly skilled, and probably the best magician ever, shame about the video quality

  • magikeroamigleo is like most kids into magic. They know little about the history behind the tricks.

  • what are you talking about? The routine michael did on the dvds was dai vernon's routine and he said it was as well. I've seen michael do his routine and it's nothing like dai vernon's. I know this for a fact becuase I've seen him routine in person 5 ft away from my face.

  • you know why? it looks taht way, becuase ammar performs his routine lol, check out ammars c & b's dvds

  • this is gold

  • dai vernon...

he's cups and balls looks the same with michael ammar
