  • Its kinda Like Zeppelin...looots of ripp offs but they did something new and of their own

  • @beroth77 led zeppelin took songs, and made them better

  • I can't believe that someone can say he has no feeling in his playing...is extremelly beautifull c'mon

  • he plays.

  • i like yngwie jhon malmsteen...

  • You know Malmsteen pulls so much pussy.

  • @TheDarkarse666 He's married so probably!

  • Jealous people with no talent just crying plagiarizm, boo hoo

  • @timtim805 Right on buddy!

  • Best vibrato in the business!

  • sounds a bit like zelda at that one part near the beginning

  • It's a good thing we don't really have two Malmsteens in this world. The world would probably explode from an inability to contain the awesomeness.

  • So beautiful.

  • very mozart like (the beginning)

  • @TMUSICIAN Because it's Mozart's symphony in G minor.

  • @Glutonid exactly. But it's more a plagiarism than a mention to this piece.

  • @TMUSICIAN It's just Yngwie's tribute to Mozart, nothing wrong with this I think.

  • @Glutonid ,it's like a plumber wanting to be an architect. Pure and simple.....Malmsteen doesn't have the skills required to write classical music.

  • @luigiperso uhhh, actually he does and he did. Its called Millenium Concerto in Eb for Electric and acoustic guitar, but thanks for your uneducated imput.

  • @TMUSICIAN ,yes, Mozart's piece, and he plagiarized many other works too, not many know that the intro to 'evil Eye' is not his music, but that of baroque composer Krieger. All in all, Malmsteen's rip offs are half assed attempts to equalize music that he can't compete with. To write classical music as the one he 'quotes' takes a lot more than just running a scale up and down the neck in one key....

  • @luigiperso

Mozart's 25th symphony, to be precise.

He also incorporated several phrases from Bach and Wagner + many more. Sometimes I think he doesn't even realize that he's copying (he certainly did it knowingly in this case though).

Still, I wouldn't hold this against him because, for one thing, I enjoy hearing these themes played through a driven Marshall amp. and for another, it's not my place to defend Mozart's work from copyright infringement.

In the end, we all steal from the classics.

  • @reghin79 Well said!

  • @luigiperso Yeah, and Jimi Hendrix plagiarized Francis Scott Key when he played the Star Spangled Banner at woodstock. You need to learn the difference between 'plagiarizm and tribute in fact Yngwie credits each composer he tributs on all of his cd inserts. But thanks for your unresearched imput.

  • my third favorite, Konami music team on all the Castlevania's, Randy Rhodes, and Yngwie.

  • it's "Overture 1622", not 1662 :)

  • people think canon rock is good? this shit is way better!

  • What album is this on?

  • @NalgaCore Magnum Opus

  • this fuckr rite here has got to go in the collem for godlyness

  • i want to see yngve use his pinky like paul gilbert! if he can i call him god!

  • kinda like castlevania

  • Enjoy it,, the classical performance of virtualitty estructural music composition!

  • Y si te digo k t amo y k eres mi inspiracion........ K pasa

  • Daaaaaam Yngwie is good... Listen to 1:28 .... Now thats his ring and the e-string having a sword duel...

  • His bends at the beginning are insanely hard to do like that.

  • 1622 = Perfect but 1928 = God

  • Malmsteen is certainly among the top 5 guitar players in the world...we all have different taste, but we all have to agree upon his skills and speed...

  • @makaronia77 not only that, but how many guitarists do you know that can write as well as yngwie? haha and yes i know this is not an original, im not that stupid. But Yngwie is certainly very creative. people say "he only plays scales" but everything you hear in any song fits into some kind of scale d: unless its rap... no scale in just talking. haha

  • jaw dropping

  • He is from Sweden:-)

  • @tissetroldet1 I don't know about the " Swe" but I do know he was from some sorta "den". Like a cave with power. Back in 80's, he was lost and found a cave with power, a Fender, Bach and Pagganni tapes, a tape player, speakers and a Marshall. No one knew this young man was stuck in cave. Then one day.....

  • Overture 1622

  • This suck!

  • @SatanicAlon i dunno micheal is a bunch of scails an stuff this guy actually has meaning to it not just a bunch of mindless shredding no offense to micheal

  • @SatanicAlon how dare you come to an yngwie video and say that. take your nonsense and leave us yngwie lovers alone! later. haha

  • @SatanicAlon - It's "Michael". And the guys is just a robot. His music sounds like a midi file. Same attack, same intensity, brain numbingly boring guitar player.

  • @Hardysamnin LOL....still laughing at that

  • สุดยอดมากเลยครับ

  • *yawn* soooooooo repetitive

  • @citarhero I'm mentally falcon punching you in the face.

  • He isn't called The Neo-Classical King of Shread for Nothing !

  • en la parte 1:50 demonios si que es rapido, apesar de todo, que es un gordo!!!!

  • really great

  • Sounds like Mozart's 25th at the begining

  • @TheStonCollector it is.

  • @forumrkt STFU!!

  • I knew I kept on playing Strats for a reason. :)

  • god must have given him those hands

  • The King of Shred Guitar!! He is a Monster for sure!! What Passion and Soul he has, surely one of the greatest guitarist to ever stap the Strat on!! Thanx for the post that we all may enjoy..

  • @TheShredfester King? Jason Becker is the king, Yngwie is the GOD

  • @TheShredfester correction. King of neoclassical. the king of shred guitar is micheal angelo batio

  • @TheSuperPicklefish very true if batio wanted to he can play this with one guitar!

  • @RisingPhoenixNK it wasn't improvised tho =/, definatly not

  • love it! the best guitarist ever, hes a god

  • fantastic!!!!!

yngwie the one and the only

amazing!!!! i like it a lot

  • BOOM!!!

    *Thats my head exploding*

All kidding asside, that was awesome!

  • i wouldnt call him God but he must get a lot of vagina!

  • perhaps, the god of vagina ? :P

  • @jonjongatillo haha he must!

  • @jonjongatillo

    Yes. He certainly attracts fannies!

  • @jonjongatillo

Specially in Tokyo and Thailand in the 80s

ITs a lot different atitude those places now -unfortunately with the gorgeous asian birds

  • @jonjongatillo

Specially in Tokyo and Thailand in the 80s

ITs a lot different atitude those places now -unfortunately with the gorgeous asian birds apart from Thailand

  • @jonjongatillo you should have said pussy

  • @COMMUNISTPHILOSOPHY

Nah, that would've ruined most of the greatness in that comment.

  • Where can i find tabs to this song??

  • just google it man

  • @hilfiger02 its on Ultimate-Guitar now, sum1 just put it up recently :)

  • @hilfiger02 try Ultimate-Guitar

  • yngwie is god.

  • yes!!!!!

  • Yeah, he's not "ripping off" Mozart--he's playing a rather unusual arrangement of a Mozart song. And he's not "sampling," either, because that would mean that he's using recorded soundbites of Mozart. Surprisingly, he's actually playing all that.

  • what mozart song?

  • fridgeslayer94: Mozart's Symphony 25.

  • eheh the best!!!

  • obvio q lo vas a lograr.pone 100 % de esfuerzo y vas a ver

  • espero algun dia tocar asi, maestro.

  • si tu quieres si podras :D

  • This is SO fucking SICK

  • ... Cant people just be INFLUENCED by others they RESPECT nowadays?

Why the hell doesn every kid think musicians LIVE to copy someone else.

  • It always amazed me that he achieved his playing with a Fender. I have a hard time playing fast with a Fender, it just sounds crappy.

Although it's not my style, it's still impressive!

  • 1622 is the overture But he is the best!

  • Its Overture 1622...

  • Perfect !

  • hey haters if yngwie didn't start playing neoclassical music and master those licks with the guitar (which is substantially more difficult than other instruments) you dickheads won't have stuff to practice with your axe. He has lots of respect for classical music he's just using it to show u what u can do with e-guitar because obviously u're all more into Avril Lavigne shit than Mozart's. Now think of canon rock, wanna call that a rip-off too? Well it is an inspiring riff-off so shut up.

  • lol excellent dude ;)

    Malmsteen Forever

  • okay everyone, he ripped off mozart. Thank you. Musicians sample other musicians all the time, hip hop, rock, and blues all have taken something from another song.

  • where does he "sample" mozart?

  • by taking the notes and rhythms of one of mozart's songs

  • ah, that's not sampling...

  • um are we fighting? cause i was defending yngwie, so if you just are fighting cause you don't think the word sample was used correctly, I'm not gonna waste my time

  • I'm pretty sure that every song uses a note or a enharmonic of a note that Mozart has used, so saying "by taking NOTES and rhythms...." is not completely Mozart, plus I'd call it inspiration.

  • very ture....

  • It's Magnum Opus album! HE's God!!!

  • ahh ok thank you

  • he ripped the intro off of mozart note for note

  • does anyone know which album this one is off of? I wanna get it

  • Im pretty sure its on the rising force album, Its deffinately his best overall album too. Its got i am a viking, i can see the light tonight, desciples of hell, and this song as well. Maybe not his best shred album, but its got his best songs on it...(aside from black star)

  • umm all of those songs are on marching out. rising force is the one with black star and far beyond the sun etc. btw the song on marching out is overture 1883 not overture 1662.

  • Shit thats what i meant. I couldnt remember marching out so i just said rising force, and how am i supposed to remember some damn numbers? lol i just remembered that there was an overture on that album, either way its a killer song

  • i just found out its off of magnum opus thanks anyway.

  • that one is 1383, and this one is 1622.

sorry to nit-pick, just being a pain :D

  • you want to say overture 1383 in marching out and overture 1622 in magnum opus....the real name of that songs

  • no mate....this song from the album magnum opus...i got the original tab book of this song....its taken from the album magnum opus...

  • this song is on the Magnum Opus album. In my opinion, the albums of his with the most of my favorite songs are Attack!, Perpetual Flame, Angels of Love(released early 09), and Marching Out.

  • he's god thats how he has 4 hands

  • god i love the sound of harmonized guiutars, especially an awesome riff like this

  • how does he have 4 hands?

  • He doesn't, but to me to copy him, I would need 4 hands =P

  • The opening riff is from Mozart's 25th symphony, but not much else.

  • Well classical is what Yngwie is about..so if you don't like it you don't have to listen

  • It's more of a variation of Mozart. It's not exactly the 25th Symphony but it sounds similiar.

  • This is Mozart right?

  • yupp

  • yngwie HINT: you could probably play a million times faster if you got rid of the 20 pounds of gold on each hand. haha.

  • he hasta put it there

    otherwise he'd play so fast

    the guitar would burn

    and everyone watching would

have their eyes pop out =]

  • it would be so hard to capture teh essence of classical renaissance and 1600's music, and such in a modern music world but my god he pulls it off so well!

  • Its overture 1622

  • Omg your so great I wish I could do tht!!

  • how does he have 4 hands

  • Lol...

  • subject to radioactive materials they started as stumps

  • but hes a badass motherfucker

  • People keep saying he does the same stuff over and over and crap like that, but does it make this sound any less good?

  • this is cooolll :D

  • lo mejor de yngwie q asta las pifias le salen bbn

  • WOW!!!!!! Yngwie is very unoriginal. Complete rip off of Mozart's Symphony No. 25 in G minor... Good job Yngwie?

  • its called a cover

  • if it was a cover, it would be called .. Mozart's blah blah. but apparently he wrote this himself and it;s on one of his CD's.

  • actually it could be called a arrangement also

  • Well, you've prpably heard his Icarus Dream Suite, compare that piece to ALbinoni's Adagio. (Well, they're the same)

  • and the rest of his songs> there all stolen far beyond the sun trilogy black star all stolen right? bands play covers but malmsteen cant?

  • if you listen to pagini then yes, its black star

  • He may have drawn from his influences well, some of the sound shows through but that stands true for most musicians, you play what you listen to.

  • Yeah but there is a difference in between taking your influences and creating your own sound around them...and just plain rip off other peoples passages and licks...and song construction...and stuff.

  • It's actually Overture 1622, not 1662

  • and another thing, if your on youtube and your just one of those people who dogs the musicians you dont like, get a freaking life, every musician has his or her own part in the music of their selected genre and they all contribute in their own way. respect what they do and shut up. not to anyone specifically, just the idiots on here

  • i actually like how he plays...but he gets filled with himself too much...too often...i really tink his an asshole...No...i don't wish i could play like him because he is...again...very repetitive...and it's a vice i have and i want to get rid off.

But i really enjoy this piece of music.

  • the understanding of music theory is really important, but people that put if before the passion of the music itself make me sick. if your not careful, eventually the patterns in music will become the only thing you recognize in music. just saying, when you listen, try not to analyze as much as you feel. trust me, it's a very hard habbit to break once you start

  • lestatspawnodFAGNUS Dude why the fuck you put down someone white more musical talent then you will ever have? Challenge Yngwie to a guitar War then come back son. Putting someone down just because they own you must make you feel good? I dont see you making albums, or millions of dollars. Maybe you should wash your mouth out with some soap, cause i can smell the shit coming out of it, i guess the meaning talking out of your ass only applies to you lestatspawnodFAGNUS

  • Never liked Yngwie Malmsteen, but i always liked this one.

  • damn!!!

I didn't care much for this guys work untill I saw this one

  • i could be wrong, but i think a ninja was supposed to jump out at some point during this video. or wait...the ninja must be the one playing the guitar...oh!!! i get it.

  • hmm, Mozarts symphony in G anyone?

  • Vai can not improvising like Yngwie does , Vai must compose/practice everthing before he play .If Vai try to improvising/jamming like on G3 with all the guitarist toghter it sound not well , Satriani is muts better with improvising/jamming than Vai.Vai is on his best if he have time to practise the song he must play and have the time to put his technic inside like a scholar musican

  • I think Vais improvising is cool. but thats my oppinion

  • if you think Malmsteen improvises everything he plays...you are veeeeeery very wrong...

1.- He rips off music from classical musicians.

2.-He makes the same licks over and over again.

3.-He always plays on a single note. (listen to the bass and the scale)

So yeah...he plays really really fast...and that's it.

  • if that its so easy why aren you as famous as he is or why dont you compose a song as goos as his???

  • Crap...you don't have to be good to be famous. And i don't want to be him. As i said in earlier comments...i still enjoy this...because there are not many, if not any, covers of Mozart in electric guitar. And personally...i'm just too lazy and also don't want to play all my stuff like that so i won't play...though i know those scales and stuff. you listen to one guy doing arpeggios...and you practically listened to all of them.

  • I agree about the arpeggio comment but there still fun to play if u play with feeling & make them trippy.

  • Malmsteen Does Improvise almost all of his songs. A few are exactly the same as the classical version, some are inspired by classical pieces, but the rest it is a formula the guy has in mind (and this is the formula that his fans like to hear) and he plays within this formula. If you hear the guy in two concerts playing the same songs, you will get what i mean. He plays the same song in another improvised version, but you still recognize and feel that's it is the same song.

  • He is the best at his style not just random gay shredding that sucks.

  • lol compared to some others now a days he isnt that good (technically or musically)... go watch some of Robota's videos...

  • AMAZING

  • This is fake, no human has 4 hands.

  • was that a joke?

  • jjajjajjajja baboso

yanki mogolico esta grabado 2 veces no tiene 4 manos ni trata de demostrarlo
