Wow, I started watching from your Sailor Moon Tutorial and headed backwards. Um...not to be mean but you have definetly improved when it comes to colors. Don't get me wrong your really talented, and I love the colors but I notice you tend to use more color on your eyes as you head towards the Outer Senshi. Hm. I love your tutorials on Sailor Moon but this is the only one I am not so sure about :D

well, if you don't like the brightness, for sure use darker or more toned down colors.

I haven't watched the video yet, but in regards to your questions about products and pictures in blog vs. info box... I like the pictures in the blog because they are much more clearer, if you do thumbnails via say photobucket and then when you click they are larger. As far as product listing, which ever you perfer. :o) I like to put a like to the blog posting with video, some more info, products used and pictures, in the info box.
