  • HERE's a super fast Cheap way to strip any type of wire NO matter what type it is the thinniest like used in ribbons in PC's and monitors to thickest millenimum

SO chaep also Never thought of it till was told by some elder gent in local barbershop saturday ! DRY ICE ! Cost about $1 a lb or less 5 lbs in one block or chunks Put the wire on it and of course Wear gloves at all times !

IN seconds the insulation is frozen wack it on the ground all insulation breaks off ! DRY ice is -109 o

  • @senseblogger that is an idea ive never thought of, but considering it still costs money and I go through quite a bit of copper in a year it would take a while to freeze every last piece and break it off. I resort to pulling the ground if its romex and just burning, my scrap yard still pays #1 for about 14ga. and bigger... usually anything much smaller is considered #2 but still i can build a fire for nothing and usually burn 80lbs of copper at a time :)

  • OK i have used many ways to get weight up in copper wire and never got caught ! YOU need any heavy non ferrous metal or bricks maybe use copper color spray apint to make the junk look like copper YOU can have 5 lbs of stranded copper wire like used in lamp cords , extensions etc.. easy to strip just skin off 1 inch use gloves and two pairs of pliers and just peel the wire out of a 10 ft piece in seconds when all done wrap it tightly around your junk weight of 5 lbs and cash in !

  • how much less do you get for burned copper? thx for the tips

  • @daretohaveorangehair how does zero sound or negative money as in fines when your caught burning wire ! I'm serious you may get away with it for lil while but you will get caught and unless you keep that coper from being burnt the yard will not accept it !

  • i just burn my wire

  • @timothy6487944 yes but if its thicker copper that is easy to strip and you have the time why not? plus your not "supposed" to burn it! haha

  • thanks for the tips

  • how much do you make on average for a air conditioner?

  • @brandon184839 this past summer i scrapped 2 of them one a 220v and another was a 110v but it was really old and weighed about the same as the 220v. i didnt know about the clean and dirty ACR's (aluminum copper radiator) and got $8.40 for one clean and $16.10 for the other 3 dirty. 1 of the electric motors $2.40 and each one probally weighed 80 a piece @220/ ton. so i made around $45, not bad for 2 freebee window AC units. but the scrap prices were also farely high

  • great vid man
