My comp can't do that cos I use Zip Genius. So instead, even if you don't have a program like Zip Genius, WinRar, WinZip, etc, etc, just right click it and select "send to..." and then select "Compressed (Zipped) Folder" and then it will copy itself in the same location but as a ZIP folder. This works with any file type or any folder, heck, even folders with subfolders!

i have installed Winzip and i right click dektop but the compressed zipped folder option still does not come up? can anyone help me please?

It is quite simple, but I know people who actually don't know how to zip a file.

I use AlZip alot for that kind of stuff lately, i've sort of pushes WinZip aside... lol

Awesome tutorial! And one of my friends told me that I would need to use WinZip to be able to zip files. I don't think my computer even has WinZip, but I know for a fact that I can create a "Compressed (zipped) Folder"! Thank you, Flash! :D

Right click on whatever u want zipped and put send to and then put compressed folder.
