If you are all believers, then why argue over minor differences in belief. If you believe that we are all sinners, God is good and just and as such we are condemned but out of love he sent his son to Die for us (Rom 5, 8); then what you are arguing isn't that important, at least not important enough to argue on a comments section on Youtube. I normally don't comment but seeing brothers show disunity is starting to drive me nuts.

@RobertMcG67 Just because we choose him doesn't mean we're immune from sickness and disease and trials and terrible unspeakable traumas. Nobody can answer for why these things happen, not even Brooke as she addressed it in the song "Flags". We need to rise up and help people and not scold them for "making the wrong choices". My pastor just died of leukemia, he was the most faithful man I've ever met.

@DeathRate720 God DOES NOT "bring you through"....Drug addictions, alcoholism....God only rescues us from those things....they are the bad choices we make by following our lusts (cant blame God)....James 1:13 : Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.

@svboyn Do you not worship a Sovereign God? By allowing those things to happen God did indeed ordain those things to come to pass, but those things which deadrate meant for bad ended up bringing him to a broken point where God could then redeem his broken life and bring him to newness. If you do not believe that God does this, then how can you trust he will fulfill his promises if he is not Sovereign over all?
