  • VERY nice.

  • What camera was this movie shot on? Great picture, the outdoor scenes turned out very well.

  • haha!! brilliant concept

  • Nice acting.

  • I guess that the message is that roses can bring out the best in us, the worst in us, and the psychotic homicidal hand-chopping murderers in us too!

  • scary...

  • Well, eh.... thats a clueless husband for you.

  • Let the competition be fair and square

  • Nice work.

  • American Beauty meets Twilight Zone on story and directing. Good job, you told the story without going over the top - (which could have happened easily).

  • hahahhaha man...

how come the husband read the same newspaper from the first minute of movie to the end....

i love the story... and camera technique

  • Psychotic!

  • Wow, that was great! 5*'s from me. I enjoy making movies myself but I have trouble coming up with a short that has a fairly good story. I really enjoyed this one. Props to you!

The roses at the end weren't very noticeable, to respond to loveablemoggy

  • Omg.. do people still wear clothes from the 50's?

I just noticed a continuity error. At the end.. when the camera shot changes. There are red roses in front of the husband prior to 8:00. then when the camera shot changes, the roses are white. *goes back to watch again*

  • that's really awesome :D

  • reminds me of stepford wives a little

  • resembled a Hitchcock-style of story telling - had a taste of rear window and then a lil american beauty with the roses. I also enjoyed the simplicity of involving 4 characters, but only using 3 and having only really 2 interact.

looked like fun - are you all shooting on film or using high-definition?

  • LOL!!! poor woman. XD

  • I liked it nice video!

  • From the moment I started watching this I went "This sounds so desperate housewives". Then whe she was talking about her missing husband I knew that he wasn't there.

  • i saw that coming, but the film was still okay. definitely not the best i've seen from VFS though.

  • I loved this from the beginning :)

It's so funny how the husband never does anything else xD

  • Well, that was crap.

  • cool video....only thing is too many movies use this type of music. wrks for american beauty much else.

  • New bill could mean the end to Internet piracy! ... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • Nice.

The roses in the vase in the last scene are red in the close up shot but change to white in the wide shot! Seems a bit too obvious. Was it on purpose?

  • Ugh...nuff said...

  • how come the husband doenst even notice?

  • he didnt care about her, even before she was gone ;)

  • lol thats a great film!

  • awesome :)

  • 7:50 roses are red?

8:03 roses change to white, if there is some subtle message I don't get it, or if it was a mistake

  • I think it might be a production blooper. But the white roses at the end show the "blood" much better.

  • whats the blooper that ur tryin to call out?

  • Rose colour change. Red in garden, white in vase.

  • i thinkn they change to red for a reason. to show that there was blood shed over the best rosses therefore u have the red ones instead

  • That's a really messed up film either way 5/5

  • lol didn't see that coming xD

  • hmm. thats genious! ima do the same thing for my garden! thanks for the advice!

  • coolio!!

  • i say that all the time and my friends are like " coolio? " they just dont get it. but u do!!

  • behhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhsknee

  • Good work.

  • niceeeee!!

  • That was a cool short film, but at the end when the credits go on, the roses are red, then when it cuts to the guy's back you see that the roses are white. Or maybe I just saw it wrong!!!

  • i see that too! haha i wonder if that was on pourpose!

  • Yeah maybe!!!

  • Nice Job Mr. Flick. 5/5 of course. And...

    Meh.

  • ahhh... i dunt no, i didnt care much for it, the characters and story were pretty cliche over all, even a few shots were cliche. Having said that, the technical aspect (editing, lighting, sound, cinematography) was good. But the story itself was just "w/e" to me. Maybe cuz ive seen similar stories all over the place. Im pretty sure u can take a couple of "Simpsons" story lines and put together this film. It feels like ive seen it before. 3/5

  • rate it either 1/5 or 5/5 nobody rates 3's and 4's anymore! like come on!

  • i gave it a four lol

  • Lol, i dont rate 2's and 4's. If the film was ass, i woulda gave it 1, if the film was great, i woulda gave it 5, the film was "so so" so it got 3 :P

  • very nice,epic

  • Yeah....thats what you get for being nosey! XD

    Awesome work as always ^^

  • It sounds so fuggin good, it makes my nuts tingle!

  • Oh wow, I loved it!

  • Nice work.

  • Nice and psychotic.... I love it!

  • Two-line headlines should be force-justified... up the point size to fill the space available... or add words.

  • great :)

  • very nice, but may want to remember how newspapers are written, the shots of it at the end looks like its an essay. Needs to be in collums.

    Other than that very good.

  • epic

  • A rose by any other name would smell so macabre.

  • Lol, she's married to Wilson from Home Improvement.

  • Great Job! That was funny! but a little creepy

    (First view)

  • awesome

  • nice
