I seriously hope you're being sarcastic. Gas stinks, especially if it hasn't been completely burnt, and the rumble, while I admit it has a good vibration, isn't all that it's cracked up to be.
So no takers on coal? Electricity isn't green ... We have a big problem here any fancy vids about electric vehicles without real solutions don't help in my opinion. How are we gunna solve this?
OK, but what do electric cars use ... well, electricity. So, how is electricity made? At the present time its mostly fossil fuels like coal. If more people use electric cars, we will burn more coal ... is it better in the end? I don't know, but its something to think about. I would like to know if the end can support the means ...
Coal is indeed one of the fuels of choice for electricity generation but there is a small movement towards wind and solar. You have to remember WD that in America at least, your power doesn't come from one particular plant, it comes from a entire grid of plants sprinkled liberally around your region.
Depending on the region's resources, your kilowatts could be coming from anything from fossil fuels to nuclear power.
electric cars are so boring though. they don't have the sweet rumble to them that gas cars have. Plus gasoline smells good lol.
