The problem with doing shows like this is that, sadly, not everyone in the band is going to want to do something like this, and most of them probably don't even know what the hell FFVII is! Moreover, in my band I'm fairly certain none of the members would be interested in it regardless of whether they even knew about it or not. :( It's tragic...I really wish my band could do a show about videogames or anime or something like that. That would make my life.

@jediforce06 That might have been the case in this band back then, but I doubt many people in my marching band (or marching bands in general today) would be interested in it or know about it. It's a pretty old game, and regardless, since not everyone will want to do a show about one particular game that some people may not know about, it wouldn't be able to be done. It's the sad truth...believe me, I wish with all my heart we could do a show about a particular game or anime next year.

I've heard a small 50-75 person band sound about 4x louder than a 300+ person band. They didn't sound like crap either, sounded like DCI. They also got 1st place at the competition they performed at.

Watching videos like this makes me miss marching band. Fall just reminds me so much of marching season back in highschool. This was a really great performance. It sucks that people don't realize the work it takes to put on something as good as this. Hopefully someday people will and not talk during performances such as this.

You guys have some EXCELLENT dynamics going on. Normally I'm not one for bands who get loud and "blast" as we called it when I was in high school, and a band geek. However, you guys show that you can be very powerful, and yet quiet and intense. AND YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW LUCKY YOU ARE! I wanted to do a video game field show so bad when I was a teenager.

AMAAAAAAZING! I used to be in color guard and your is WAY bigger than mine was! Much better also XD Thier worst song was Tifa's theme, but even that was fantastic, the soloist doing a great job as well. JENOVA was probably my favorite song for the band and guard, the flag work being right on key and synchronized. The tosses near the end were GREAT and the solo toss finished things out awesomely. Great job!

watch lake central marching band 2006 fung shui show..it is exact to the t including the guard feature in the closer..the opener was the same..the music order was the same..the arranging was uncanningly similar...all i have to say is wow..
