Hi Jimmy, The Jazz standard challenge just kind of happened one day.Basically it's to play a new standard everyday for as long as you can. I found myself blowing over the same songs with my band and I needed to find some fresh tunes. I have over the years bought many books which were only collecting dust , so I thought the time had come to start playing through all of them. So here we are on day 161. I'm hoping to keep this going for at least a year. Thanks for your support. Cheers Steve...
