I always liked how the game's theme song played during the final FINAL battle with Goldibus's cheap ass. Made the fight feel so epic.

I used to play this game all the time with my best friend. I hated the final boss!!!! Dreamcast was an underrated system.

Hah. I forgot that when you fight Goldibus as G Kaiser, instead of getting his theme song, you get the instrumental version of the opening song. Once, I actually managed to beat him, with a FInal Attack, before the music looped. Yeah, I couldn't believe it either.

Loved using the Dixen in this game....mainly cause it was based on the Gundam RX-78

I used to be really good at this game back when I was in high school. I'd go to the arcade almost every day after school and Wise Duck my way through the whole thing on one quarter. G. Kaiser and Rafaga were also pretty bad ass. So many good memories from this game.

That voice sounded familiar to me... the final boss Goldibus was voiced by none other than Chikao Otsuka.

I like how for Kikaioh specifically the background music changes to the main theme when Goldibus changes form (it's like when Xianghua's sword transforms into the Soul Calibur in the original Soul Calibur on DC, sooo awesome!)

Yeah Goldibus is ridicuously cheap, and to add more insult, he's not even playable. But Tech Romancer is one of the main reasons why I still hold on to my dreamcast though. Its still a fun game.

To this day Tech Romancer remains my favorite fighting game. I still own it too! :D

I only ever managed to beat Goldibus on the first try once, and even that was by pure luck...

I loooooved this game myself, still have my DC but not the game :(. The player in this video did excellent, it was almost like watching a show, cheering and going for the main guy, loved it! Yeah I hated Goldibus, but my favorite fighter was Rafalga.

You could set the rounds of the game to 1 round, so you only have to beat him twice. But yes, he is very cheap.
