hey Butter just to let you know Full Tilt, Absolute Poker, and UB didn't get shut down due to employees cheating and seeing whole cards. They were shut down by the DOJ because of money laundering (sending money illegally through banks and companies to players) and because online gambling isnt legal in US right now anyways. Just wanted to clear that up though. I played on Full Tilt for 4+ years and still have 5 digits plus locked up in my account that I may never be able to access again.

I had the same problem bro, when i was18, I went to a 18 and over casino and played Blackjack, the first night i went home with $300, and I was like Dude! I can make a living like this. But I was wrong, I kept going and going, pulling out of the ATM machine, and i spent most of my FAFSA money on it. I remember at a point I took $60 and was up $1,600 and that same night I lost it all plus another $200. I was a fucking idiot. Now I have over 3 months w/o going. Now i can say I'm not Addicted =)

I'm up 440 this week on Doyles Room. Tourney play only. Cash games are way to high in Varience. Look you have to play with 5% of you Bankroll and leave or don't play with 10% or higher. Bankroll Management. Don't fuck around with it. Keeps me up. Read a poker Pscychology book. It helps.

Glad you got over the addiction, this will sound stupid but i was addicted to xbox for a long time, i think it was because i had no job at the time and i dropped out of school so all my friends were busy and i turned to xbox and became obsessed, in the end i learned that everything is good in moderation apart from murdering people of course :)

I used to bet big money in pool halls and I won alot of money but I know what you mean, I scared myself because of how nervous id get when things stopped going my way so I quit. Made like $8000 but im glad i stopped. The #1 way to not have a gambling problem is never to have an "I need to make that back" mentality

Pokerstars got shutted down? what? lol, Pokerstars is the biggest poker site in the world, is not rigged and they don't have any employee looking at your cards.

Most of the time these days they have at least 200,000 players online playing at the same time, and they make a T O N of money from the rake, there is just no way to cheat on pokerstars.

You thought you were playing "perfect" but you weren't, you probably went on a downswing and you just thought that online poker is rigged.

I lost quite a lot when I started, say 2000 dollars because I was an amateur but then I was convinced that you could win because of skill. this training website was really convincing and I actually won like a 1500 dollars the other month by doing those 15 dollar, 1 or 2 table tournaments.
