I get confused with English currency, especially when I here the English talk about money in slang. For example, what denotes a shilling, or a quid? Well shillings are old money, which were phased out in the 70s i think, so i have no idea how much in modern money they would be worth! Quid just means pounds so 5 quid is literally £5
