The continent's population is projected to see a 93% increase by 2050, compared to a 22% increase outside of Africa. This increase is caused by the combination of high birth rate to counter a historically high death rate, and current artificially low death rate. Ending aid to Africa would be the logical measure to combat overpopulation.
