  • shane hates dixie

  • release everyone over 40 except for angle ' and bring in heyman

  • Sting, Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan where great in their day. But this isn't their day anymore.

  • Dixie, Bischoff, Hogan, Flair & Sting need to go

Angle & Samoa Joe need to fued again

    Steiner needs to go too

    bring in Paul Heyman

push the younger talent for the love of god!!

TNA will be saved if those steps are followed

  • @86Stooy Stone Cold and The Rock too. REPLY BACK.

  • ex-ecw stars $250 a day, hulk hogan (reportedly) $2,000,000 a year...

how the fuck is that fair?

  • Dixie is a milf.

  • Douglas is bitter cuz he busted his ass for less money.. granted he is good on the mic. everyone likes to bash flair.. why? Here yoyu have one of the best mic men ever... just his match quality went down strictly due to old age...same old match? look at alot of "stars" they all do the same shit too.. hbk, brett hart, undertaker, hhh...bottom line is when ur bumping 300 nights a year.. how the fuck do you switch it up.. they still got towns to make after you go to the shows, ffs.

  • he described dixie carter perfectly

  • Dixie Carter fucking sucks

  • @kv01010 Hollywood Hogan was a way better Heel than Douglas.

  • shane from 96-99 was the best fuckin heel there was i would put that heel run up against anyone.. the guy flat out could talk

  • Seeing Ric Flair after he went against his retirement is embarrassing and it reminds me of ABC dragging Dick Clark on TV every New Years Eve

  • I would do Dixie Carter in the pooper.

  • @MrManmountainrock It absolutely was.You're obviously a student of the game like me.My hat's off to u :)

  • @MrManmountainrock Let's just agree to disagree. As I stated earlier I've enjoyed this dialogue and have much respect for your opinions and for not resorting to insults and other childish behavior that seems to be the norm here. You're thoroughly a class act my friend.

  • @eclipse5863 it was a good debate :)

  • @MrManmountainrock That's true and I'd agree but for 1 point.Every wrestler I've ever heard or seen write about Shane Douglas says the same thing...the guy was lazy in the ring. He'd go about 5 minutes then say he was tired and to "go home" or end the match. If it was just Hall I'd say maybe it's personal. But every single guy? That's not just coincidence.

  • @eclipse5863 he was in loads of matchs that went way longer then that and while it is a fact that he did take his gimmick to seriously no company not even ecw would have put the belt on him if that was the case as the fans would have tore the place down and there are also plenty of wrestlers like terry funk and sabu that have said many times in the past that shane was always a pro in the ring

  • @MrManmountainrock I absolutely agree on the point of guys like Hogan and Flair holding talent down. However in Shane's case it was his own flaws and shortcomings that hurt his career. In the Scott Hall shoot even he said that there was nothing he could do to help Douglas because the guy just refused to work.Sad but true.

  • @eclipse5863 i like scott hall he is a cool guy which is why im subbed to his channel on here but you have to remember he is best pals with hbk and as such not the most reliable person to be talking about someone shawn dislikes plus scott was not exactly the most reliable guy in the ring himself in wcw it is just a fact of life that not everyone will see eye to eye some people just dont like each other in or out of the ring

  • @eclipse5863 if he refused to work with him then there were proberly personal reasons for it which we will never know

  • @MrManmountainrock But anyway I just wanna say that I've really enjoyed this dialogue with u.You're intelligent and make good points without resorting to name calling and insults like TOO many people on this site.Mad respect to u.

  • @MrManmountainrock Let's face it,Shane Douglas's ONLY claim to fame was playing a second rate ripoff of The Genius Lanny Poffo. And he couldn't even pull THAT off.Maybe if he'd actually had a career he'd be in a position to advise people on theirs. This is just an attempt to keep himself alive in the minds of wrestling fans that forgot about him a lonnnggg time ago.If he wants to help these guys he should just say "don't do what I did"

  • @eclipse5863 the guy has always had it in for the old guard like hogan and flair for the simple reason they always hold talent back to further there own careers now they are in there late 50's and are still there doing the same thing i dont blame douglas for pointing out that tna has gone down and will continue to go down the shiter as long as these guys are there doing what they are doing as for his career he seems to have enough cash saved up and i am sure he is happy with what he achived

  • My point is he's never done anything noteworthy in his own career so where does he get off telling others how to handle theirs?i guess the old saying holds true...Those who can,do.Those who can't, talk. He'll still be a bitter, minor, footnote in the business long after these guys are main eventing.Shit, half the people in this forum are probably saying "Shane who?Who the hell is this guy"?

  • he more then held his own in the ring the guy really could work he dident need to be carried in the ring you dont have to like the guy but he could work the young guys in tna will never go anywhere as long as people like hogan and sting are there and none of them have the guts to speak up because they know what will happen if they do douglas is giving his point of view in this interview just like we are giving ours you dont have to agree with him or me but he is just calling it like he sees it

  • @MrManmountainrock He was only good in ECW because he had top shelf guys like RVD putting him over every 5 minutes.Much like Hogan,if u piss and moan enough eventually u get your way.The bottom line is he's in no position to be giving anyone career advice. The young guys in TNA are quite capable through their own abundant talent and skill to get themselves over without advice from a "never was" like him.

  • @MrManmountainrock One off events? Those guys were draws everytime they stepped in the ring. And there's a difference between being a not so good wrestler technically and just not giving a shit enough to even put forth the effort.Douglas is known for not only being lazy, but dangerous as well.Outside of hardcore matches he's got absolutely nothing to offer. He talks smack about Dixie Carter and TNA,but with his career track record he should be kissing her ass inside and out for a job.

  • @eclipse5863 they drew money but they were mostly in midcard matches there whole careers unlike main eventers like savage flair hbk etc most of shanes matchs in ecw were very very good and most of them were not hardcore matches he was one of the best wrestlers there and one of there greatest champions the only time i ever seen him phone it in was in wcw but he was way past his prime at that point anyway and he talks about tna because he wants to see the young talent get a chance to get over

  • @MrManmountainrock Are u kidding me?Dibiase WM4 title tournament,Hennig Summerslam vs Bret IC title,Piper WM1 vs Hogan and Mr.T,Owen WM10 vs Bret title match,Davey Boy Summerslam 92 vs Bret IC title,Jake KOR96 vs Austin final match,Snuka vs Muraco cage match.Every one of those guys were main eventers. Not because of titles, because they drew money. You could roll Shane Douglas in shit and he wouldn't draw flies.

  • @eclipse5863 one off events does not meen you are a main eventer and im not talking about making money either what you do in the ring is what i meen bret as champ did not draw shit that is a fact but he is still one of the greats inside the ring hogan drew a shit load of cash and is one of the worst ever wrestlers inside the ring

  • @MrManmountainrock Vader did a hell of a lot more in his career than Douglas ever did.At least Vader was a main event wrestler.Where the hell did Douglas ever main event outside ECW,a regional promotion at best?No one that ever wrestled him, including Bret Hart, ever had a good word to say about him.Vader was WCW champion.Douglas never held a major title in his entire career because he didn't have the talent or charisma to carry one.

  • @eclipse5863 ted dibiase curt henning roddy piper owen hart davey boy smith etc etc never were main eventers but they were still great in the ring just because your not in a main event does not meen you are not a great wrestler also just because you dont hold a belt does not meen you cant be a great talent in the ring either jake roberts never held a title in wwf neither did super fly but they were two guys who were great at what they did and were ahead of there time for instance

  • @MrManmountainrock Lmao Douglas had talent? Then how come he never amounted to shit outside ECW?Even in WWE when they tried to give him a huge push as Dean Douglas the jabrone never got past mid card.Every guy that ever faced him said what a lazy piece of shit he was.Check out Scott Hall's shoot if u don't believe me.

  • @eclipse5863 well there is the fact of good ol hbk who fucked with his career plus the shit gimmic did not help matters either vader dident do shit in wwf but he just like douglas was a super worker in the ring and he also got fucked over by hbk but just because you are not a success in one company does not meen you are not talented douglas in his day was one of the best

  • Shane Douglas is jobber piece of shit that never had the talent to rise above mid-card status. He needs to shut the fuck up and fade back into obscurity where he belongs.

  • @eclipse5863 lmao douglas had more talent in the ring then the whole tna roster have now

  • They've spent over $100 million dollars? Why is their product so cheap-looking, then?

  • The last time I watched a whole match on either show it was the last match in the best of 5 between the motor city machine guns vs beer money and it was AMAZING.. Since the I have tried to watch both WWE and Impact and I just can`t do it. The only way to see a good match from theese 2 companies is to let someone else sit through them... tell you about them....then watch them on the net.

  • i fucking LOVE this channel

  • Bringing in big names to your company won't make your company better; booking good shows and matches will. TNA has some of the biggest legends, but they still suck.

Hell, look at WrestleMania 27. They had the Rock make his triumphant return. That didn't stop WM27 from sucking. Now look at Money in the Bank, which was praised by pretty much everyone because of the story and the buildup. It proves that good booking and storytelling are what make a good wrestling show, not big names.

  • @Sanguiluna dont tell us that tell them there the ones who need help now or they will lose there company

  • @Sanguiluna

It made Wrestlemania get over a Million PPV buys, which it didn't since Wrestlemania 23.

So yeah, when WWE does it it works since they are the number 1 company. For TNA it's pointless. Especially for stars who's primes were 20+ years ago.

  • Why can't the wrestling industry just leave ecw alone. I thought in 2006 when Vince tried to bring it back it might have been interesting but then rvd sabu got nicked and it just went down the toilet. TNGay will steal idea's from anywhere so i'm not surprised they tried the ecw angle

  • who da fuck is shane douglas? o.O

  • To be honest I just watch Impact for Madison Rayne, Velvet, Tara, Mickie, and Miss T. Fortune is a watered down joke. Mr. Anderson has small flashes of brilliance, but then turns to crap. Abyss was interesting when he beat RVD with Janice. Bully Ray is a middle aged man who acts like a high school bully. The Pope was great but now sucks hardcore. Samoa Joe is like a disgruntled foot locker employee who got shorted on his check. Jeff Jarret and Karen are humorous heels that still is entertain me.

  • @hambalony no

  • @resincoatedlungs Why's that?

  • bitter bitter man - no wonder hbk didn't wanna job to u

  • @hambalony you like what tnas is doing now cause i dont you think hogans helping them out cause i dont

  • @hambalony does not mean hes not 100% right

  • Hogan has overstayed his welcome. Get rid of them, no one cars about Hogan anymore, it's 2011 not 1997, get with it ffs. While you're at it show Flair and Sting the door, their careers are done, time to move on.

  • I would l fuck Dixie Carter like a mexican Pinata...

  • I would l fuck Dixie Carter like a mexican Piñata...

  • TNA doesnt suck

    its just not good

  • @gqunit69 i.e it sucks

  • @gqunit69 lol wtf

  • @gqunit69 The management sucks, that has been proven.

  • @gqunit69 I respectfully disagree. "Just not good" was over 3 years ago. Now, it just sucks.

  • DIANA HART SMITH BASHES MICHAEL COLE sorry this might be a dick move to put on a shameless plug but you know

  • Klebold > WrestlingForum

  • THE REAL QUESTION IS HOW THE IMPACT ZONE GOT IN THE KITCHEN?

  • 10 to 12 Thousand a day for Rick Flair ????? Fire Hogan , Flair , Stiner , and Sting !

  • @TheKingFucktard I say keep sting, they need at least one older guy to keep an eye out on the younger talent, and Sting would be the perfect one to do so, all the other old guys need to go home and shut up

  • @leveille1 Agreed , I like Sting to , and he can still bring it.

  • you can fired hogan flair sting but tna still gona suck just like they suck b4 those guys got there where was tna 4yrs ago?? who did they blamed back then there was no hogan no bishoffs ect...actually hogan n flair are old fossills but its no coincidence rating went up a bit since they got there

  • @TheBestEVER4LIFE Classic TNA was great , I followed the company sense year one with the weekly PPVs.

  • my fav tna superstar used to be sonny siaki and i hope tna keeps improving but ratings dont lie tna has put up the best ratings since hogan got there and im not saying hogan is responsible 4 it im just saying almost no 1 was watching it before that...daniels vs styles vs joe was great but it didnt gain much fun interest from wrestling fans only roh fans were into it ..tna talents had that chance 2 put the company on top n were unsuccessful @ 1 point...i think tna needs new homegrown talents

  • @TheKingFucktard Douglas is wildly over-estimating Flair's pay. 10k a day would equal $3.6 million a year, when in fact the Shane Ryan article on Flair said he was making 22k per MONTH in TNA (roughly 264k per year).

I agree with Douglas' basic point that a broken-down, 62-year-old Flair has no business being in TNA, let alone getting a six-figure check from Dixie.

  • @DoubleTalkingJive Douglas said 10k a day. Usually, TNA pays for 1 day Impact tapings and 1 day for the monthly PPV. That makes it 20k per month, 240k per year. If you add maybe some live tapings (if any) you go to 260k so Douglas is correct.

  • That sucks.

  • Cena calls himself the franchise in his theme song, but we all know that Shane is the TRUE FRANCHISE.

  • @dandaman06 Cena got Franchised! Haha!

  • @dandaman06 As did Sting. We all know Cena's a joke

  • @dandaman06 O Yah

  • @dandaman06 sting wants to have a word with you...

  • @dandaman06 Cena sucks, man. Douglas is the ONE AND ONLY FRANCHISE. REPLY BACK.
