  • Fucking hell! That's awesome dude! I apologise for swearing but, ya know, just, FUCKING HELL!

  • @Iosifyakubov

    continued

I found many usefull parts online in this shop in the Netherlands (Europe) "cmsnl-dot-com".

For the backend i i'm happy with my conversion to the Suzuki GSXR 250. But it requires some custom welding, unless you want to keep the mono shock.

Also there is some chain tech to deal with - i found help at "jt-sprockets-dot-com" You can find matching sprockets there.

Don´t hesitate to write me - i will be happy to share some of my experience.

  • Good taste in bikes and music.

  • @aaabbbeee

Thanks - i´m glad you like it :)

  • I'm converting a 1971 cb350 into the cafe racer. Just wanted to know what you think might work for a front end for this bike, also do you recommend changing the swing arm to something newer. Do you have any advice for us for the build.

  • @iosifyakubov

Sorry for the very late answer - you probably already found a solution to your project elsewhere... If not - i guess just about anything could do it for your frontend, if you find bearings that can fit in the frame. I have changed the bearings to 2 conical from QMP - art. no. 7361132 "SSH750" - it is supposed to fit bikes: CB250/350/500/650/750, CBX550/ CJ360 and GL1000.

  • What i meant was probably "conversion" - hope this solves this little misunderstanding - but i guees if you´re a normal thinking adult - by watching the video you should be able to find the meaning anyway... :)

But thank you for your interest.

    / Jakob

  • Whats a "convertion"?

  • Interesting project you’ve got going there mate! Godffery's Garage

  • I've wish I had the talent/money right now to do this to my 76 Honda CJ360T. It's a great bike w/ a lot of new/rebuilt parts, but no one wants to buy it b/c I don't have a title. If that bike sits in my shed for too long i might make it into a cafe racer similar to the designs you showed.

  • hey man, inspiring stuff! keep us posted

  • you should call it the turd burgler

  • nice job on your project.....i really like the rear shell you made.

  • Yuck!!! Thaqt thing is GAY GAY GAY!!! You might as well put a huge wing on it!!! You just destroyed a classic bike...shame on you, Fag....

  • What did you need to do to rework the rear swing arm to make it fit? How come you chose suzuki parts over say CBR parts? Any info helps, crazy sweet bike.

    Hello ivanfox3

    Thanks for your interest.

I can not give you all the details here - but you can take a look at my blog here - it is not up-to-date, but i think the details you ask about is covered.

    Cheers Jakob

  • georgous mate

  • love those velocity stacks... running the same carb setup on my cl350

  • Dæ ær en stinker!....go stil! Lad os høre den?

  • Hello smokestack56

Yes i had to re-jet the carbs to equal the bigger airflow, i think it was 2 or 3 stages up in jet size.

But i will have a look one of the days and the ill post it here, the exact number.

  • hi. my right accelerator handle that you turn to give it gas is it wont turn can i buy a new one. thanks

  • Hi,Nice bike!! I was wondering if you rejetted from stock? And to what size?

  • What mufflers are those?

  • Hello goldenstone74

this i pretty much of a low budget project,

so the mufflers is the original, but i cut them down about 15-20 cm and made a cone-end out of 1 mm sheetmetal and attatched a inner tube with smal holes and wrapped the tube with silencer material. I then welded this on the cutted exhausts. I can send you picts if you like.

    Thank you for your interest.

  • air filters? ur engine wont run for long without air filters my friend.

repositioning the footrest and foot controls is a great idea

definetly consider keeping the wheels purple. that looks soooo sick! start a new trend

  • sounded like a weird concept but it turned out very nice. Tis a shame the 360 is such a weird looking engine heh.

Mad props on the 360 engine though. I've got one i'm dorking around with myself.

  • Thanks for the responce!

Yes i agree the engine is very old-school, very straight up-and-down - but it got potential anyway, and gives plenty of power to the bike, and with the imporved fornt/backend it deliveres very good handling. top end speec could be higher, but on curved roads it just about perfect.

    thanks - Jakob
