  • It's sad, because where I live in Australia, there are pretty much nothing you can do anything with :( the most exciting thing I've done since last year is wall run along 4 metres... Then the teachers caught me halfway...

  • he can't say parkour

  • Cool story bro, but needs more music! :D

  • where do you live? cause these are awesome spots there! hope its nearby.

  • Why does it seem that all freerunners are very inspirational?

  • When I lose track of myself and training, I always come back to this 4 part video for guidance and inspiration, it really sets me straight. I give my thanks to you guys for helping me get back into my routine time and time again. Love from Canada.

  • "Parkour is a life philosophy..." If your life philosophy is training your body and having some fun with your friends in a city, then well done!

  • can you guys give me some ideas on some conditioning excercises such as the movement on the stairs and some strength excersicses?? cheers.

  • @gun818 Have a look at my video 'Strength training and conditioning for parkour 2' for some ideas on suitable exercises. Some are quite difficult, others are simpler. Choose a selection from the video which are suitable for you at the stage you're currently at.

  • This video is amazing. It is safe to say that you guys (Northern Parkour) are responsible for my entrance into the discipline 6 months ago. Thank you!

  • @Pres2191 That's good to hear! We set out to make a documentary which people would find useful, so I'm happy that this documentary helped to inspire you to start training :)

  • My Face At 2:30 :O

  • i love parkour but im only ten and i suck

  • @moddify1 Keep practicing then! You've got plenty of time to improve :)

  • @Obsidian1138 im 29 and fat/out of shape. i suck to. any chance for me?lol. im serious btw.

  • @TheBarryNoVa The very fact that you've asked the question means that you must at least believe that you can do something, so the answer is yes! Parkour is a perfect way to improve your general health and fitness, and can be scaled to your own level. Just start off small, and try to find a local group of practitioners who you can train with. People who understand parkour will be happy to help you out.

  • @Obsidian1138 nice one. i been training about 3 times now and i can def feel it on my body. both good and bad.lol. but its been great to get some exercise and do something that challenges me. got myself some fingerless cycle gloves, couple wrist bands, some decent grippy running shoes and a loose tracksuit for doing it in today. figure if im going to fall over and hurt myself i might as well dress properly.lol. but on a serious note, i effin love parkour. even at my level its fun. great vids man

  • I used to wrestle in highschool; lifted weights, ran my ass off every day, that sort of thing. I was in the best shape of my life. As soon as I graduated, though, things turned for the worse. I started eating fatty and sugar filled foods, drinking coffee like it was nobodies business, I even started smoking tobacco. My body fat was at 5% when I wrestled, I boosted up to 12%. I was disgusted with myself. I then saw this documentary a little over a year ago, it gave me The Inspiration. Thank-you<3

  • Hey guys I was wondering what i could do have of the year to traing parkour because i live in canada and half of the year it's snowing or -20'c so please help. Rate to p coment so people can see!!

  • @TheTrailerMan22 It's difficult if you live in that kind of climate. You could focus on conditioning, strengthening your body when the weather is bad, in preparation for the sunnier days. You could also find a gymnastics centre, where you can still practice movements, irrespective of weather. Indoor climbing centres are also good, or if you can find undercover car parks, then you may still be able to train parkour at no cost during the winter.

  • @Obsidian1138 I live in Canada myself sometimes there are online groups you can find for your local area and they have gyms they go to during the winter. There are some practitioners who even dare to train in the harsh conditions

  • @TheTrailerMan22 hey bro i live in canada too, toronto actually and i have been just been building my strenght throught out the winter, so when summer comes i have more strenght to push my self over obejcts. you can also look on google for parkour gyms, in toronto their website called themonkeyvault. if you don't have the money or your gym is too far, then all you need is a wall, open space, a set of stairs and railings. your house should have it, and you can use your garage to practice.

  • @TheTrailerMan22 Same here, whereabouts do you live? I know there is alot of groups out east from BC to Mannitoba. Just look around on the web. Lots of them have gyms times where they train etc.

  • This guy is really deep...

  • I hate people who make fun of parkour Yesterday i was Running and doing Tricks And then people were just like laughing and making fun of parkour by saying to thi do that I just hate it Thumps up there is Assholes like that were you live.

  • @Parkour90236 Just continue your training. In a few years, the people who mocked you will all be obese anyway!

  • @Obsidian1138 lol im fat and i parkour sweet comment funny

  • @Parkour90236 "HEY DO DA BAKFLPZ AGIN" It's pretty annoying lol

  • this is free running no parkour dumbass

  • @austinthorlton15 Is it?

  • @austinthorlton15 dude do you even know the difference?! parkour is getting from point a to point b fast and efficient! Isaw that in the majority of this video, and the other parts were conditioning and training! Freerunning u can usually tell because they tend to use all sorts of flips with no real intention of getting anywhere!

  • @austinthorlton15 free running and parkour are the same dumbass.

  • @Pheonickx no they arent. freerunning is street acrobatics while parkour is efficient movement.

  • @austinthorlton15 free running is used in US but its original name is parkour

  • @austinthorlton15 You obviously have no idea what parkour is.

  • Love it! Well scripted, great concept! Get this into a festival circuit.

  • @LopeztheGypsy Thanks. I think it's a bit old now to enter into festivals, but there will be more to come later this year...

  • This video needs more views.

    At least 4-5 million views.

  • I've just started basic training, bike riding for upper front legs and walking for lower back legs. I've got a question concerning sugar addiction/"overdosing", can drinking lots of water help flush out that sugar in my body so I can train harder?

  • @sacreed1 Eating less sugar in the first place is the best option! Drinking plenty of water helps to keep you hydrated, which is critical for training.

  • Holy crap this is in Manchester? I'll check around Wigan first, but if there's nout I know where I'm going. :D

  • its in the humans nature to challenge the body to the limit. but sadly this is not as much true as it once was. everyone devote your self with a mind set of achieving your physical goals never give up and don't underestimate yourself. i was once 184 pounds and 14 but i lost it all in 2 months down to 150 and began my training. if i can do it then you can. believe in yourself and don't let anyone say that you cant do something, because... you can do Anything you want.

  • Where does this video take place.By take place I mean like witch country

  • @ScienceNerd39 England

  • I started parkour 2 years ago. This time was just amazing

too bad i had an open fracture by the leg before summer and now i have to learn how to walk and run.. hope I can start parkour again soon ):

  • @ofnerable Oh, i feel bad for you, but i understand you... 2 years ago, i was diagnosticated with Osgood Schlatter's Dissease, which completely ruined my life. I couldn't walk normally, because i always felt pain. The medics told me that i could never do parkour and freerunning again... After 2 years, i still get a lot of injections, pills and visit a lot of doctors. Im getting better now and hope for best. I will pray for you, and i hope that you will be able to train again. God bless you.

  • hey m8 is all this in deans gate coz i looking 4 good parkour spots i going manchester 2 train 2moz

  • @parkourazzy24 The training is all over manchester, the link to northern parkours website is in the discription it has all the info you need to know

  • How many times did you stuff your nuts doing a bar jump?

  • You guys are Great, just to say it.

I would like to practice again but I don't have the time to train as before, I try to keep up the training but that's hard, and I train alone so that's not so good. I would like to live in there, that place was build to Parkour. Here in Brazil we don't have so much places(at least not so close)Well keep up the good work guys, you guys rule.Good training and luck for you guys!!!

  • is there any porkur training in india ???

  • @0sholay Yes. Just type Parkour India into Google!

  • Amazing

  • Can someone do me a favor and answer a question real quick? I always thought this sort of music was house but it seems not to be, what direction is it? :D

  • hey everyone check my awesome video

  • this is so true

  • You need more color correction, homie. Lower the gamma, up the contrast and the saturation just a little bit.

  • oh.. my.. god... i wish there were such spots in my city... i envy you, guys, i really do.. :(

  • @deletedgamer111 i think there is always some place you can practice, try a park ;)

  • @Guill0rtiz well, we have spots, and not the worst kind of spots, but the ones i saw in this film.. they're just AMAZING!

  • @deletedgamer111 haha well, a big city is always going to be better for parkour. but don't feel bad about it, it's all about feeling "the nature of challenge" ;D

  • @Guill0rtiz amen to that :D

  • I think you're right about non-practitioner-made films. People (like me) who don't practice, especially those who watch MTV or any other programme/channel expecting some stylish jumping, probably don't think about the "philosophy" behind it all.

  • you guys helped inspire me thanks

  • Most of this I did on a playground when I was in Elementary School without knowing

  • any tips for a 14 year old wanting to start parkour training and conditioning wise?

  • @Hksportsman do like i did, look at some tutorials, messure your limits, and get started! (sorry for bad english,I'm from Belgium)

  • @Parkaution should I get started with some strength excercises?

  • @Hksportsman do some push ups & stuff when you get up & right before you go to sleep, and just do some parkour during the day!

  • @Parkaution so just some push ups situps and pull ups or something? cool thanks

  • @Hksportsman watch?v=MGzepBg216M

    watch?v=X15VRzQHq2U&feature=relmfu

good luck,go out, train and have fun!

  • @Parkaution sweet thanks alot man your the best

  • Awesome you guys are the best in climbing wallls and condicioning

  • wwoow police with never caught those foos

  • wwoow police with never caught..those foos

  • sounds like pussy liberal bristh person. no compation?

  • IM JEALOUS OF YOUR PARKOUR SPOTS! i live in the suburbs and do parkour and there isnt SHITT here:/ mainly behinde stores or i go downtown

  • wtf do the top comments mean?!?!?!?

  • i wanna get into parkour but skateboarding destroyed my knees i cant take a 6 foot drop for shit anymore :(

  • @rebelsneverdie Parkour isn't just about dropping off stuff. The training is about improving your own capabilities. There's still plenty you can do, even if your knees are injured. If they are as bad as you say, it might be worth being assessed by a physiotherapist.

  • @rebelsneverdie i used to skateboard too, and everytime i drop off something my right heel hurts. dam i regret ollieing that gap...

  • @rebelsneverdie Same with me, I destroyed my knees from skate boarding and other things... Even though I will be going to air soft wars with friends and people I don't know :P

  • Is this in Manchestah?

  • @kashifthewhiterider No, it's Manchester ;)

  • i liked it all except one thing, maybe i missunderstood it,there is no competition between 2 tracers or 2 freerunners it's the freedom of movement althought i like using parkour in tag or capture the flag;)

  • @scardorn145 I think you did misunderstand. He said it's you vs. environment, not you vs. another

  • haha nice vid! u should have done a double kong at 0:51

  • I thought spiderman was just a film lol I subscribed!

  • it so amazing and cool

  • Guys I must say, you're philosophy on Parkour has made a huge impact on my life. 2 years ago when I first saw this, I was 265 pounds. Now I am 160 pounds and am much happier with life in general. Most of this goes to the inspiration I obtained from watching your documentary and utilizing the exercises you illustrated in your conditioning videos. I just wanted to say much thanks for being such an inspiration.

  • @TheLamboCalrissian Wow! Awesome dude.. What did you do to lose 100+lbs? I was 220, currently 180ish.. Looking to drop it to 165 ish, but it seems like I've hit a ceiling..

    Oh ya, congratz too..

  • Fucking amazing.

  • hahaha dave you absolute twat size of your forehead.

  • @TKParkour Everyone has opinions. It just so happens that after many years I'm confident in mine.

But do we disagree on how to train? Sure, I've done push-ups in my time, but they have no part in my normal training.

You realise that the strength training videos are just supplementary ideas and not a suggestion on how to practice Parkour,. right?

  • @TKParkour

Hi Toby. Are you still mad about me pointing out that you making showreels could be considered showing-off? Oh well, don't know how I live with myself sometimes. Take care. :)

  • parkour reminds me of assassin's creed

  • como faço parkour ?

  • guys you are the best :D

  • Parkour: an ART form

  • This city must have used millions of bricks! XD LOL city bricks

  • man you guys are rediculous. this is some of the craziest and COOLEST stuff i have ever seen.... to those that dont like it id suggest simply not watching it. theres already enuff negativity in the world to have to be subjected to it on every video youtube has.....to you Parkour guys - keep doing what you do. i wished i seen this when i was younger. GREAT VIDEO.

  • this video is soo good :D <3

  • chair hump 6:13

  • why would anyone dislike this? D:

  • @wintergryphon

    trolling......

  • i like how u put in the fact that some are shortening their lives doing things other than exercising

  • i like how u put in the fact that some are shortening thier lives doing things other than exercising

  • It's simply "Believe to achieve". Have no fear, or no doubt.

  • thanks for the great advice in the video ,but my school doest really allow parkour but i train with my best friend at times when they dont look, so we also created our group called Anti-Gravity. and by the way we are both females with strong will power

  • Comment removed

  • !!!! bravissimi sembrano gatti!

  • always keep a humble heart and an open mind ^^

  • You help me alot, i'm trying to get the deans at my school to allow us to parkour but we have to explain what parkour is first and you guys helped me find the words to say

  • SHIT! If I ever get to do any of these things, and match it with my somehow excellent sleight of hand, I'd be a master thief! Fcuk!

  • oh dude i didnt know who these guys were at first bud i saw you guys way back love this guys kep it up

  • You guys are brilliant. This is what launched my training. Thank you very much!

  • i went to a zoo and i saw better parkour than anywhere else... this sport SUCKS.

  • @maykolee Are you mentally retarded? The movements of parkour are animal like in nature and by design. If you really did parkour for 3 years you would have known this by know. By the way ever heard of the cat leap? Monkey vault perhaps? maybe crane?

  • @maykolee Are you mentally retarded? The movements of parkour are animal like in nature and by design. If you really have done parkour for three years then you would have known this by now. By the way ,ever heard of a cat leap? monkey vault perhaps? possibly a crane?

  • I agree wit da grizly

  • you guys are awesome

  • Awesome, Awesome video's - great work!!

  • Comment removed

  • You did a great job.

Maybe we can explain ourself better with it.

    Thank you very much :)

  • cool vid

  • This serie explained a lot, was great!

  • i love pakour

  • its like people train skate in some place that all the skater have fun their with the environment like the beach near my town

  • Cannot download >n<!

"This service is temporarily not available from your service area."

  • I wanna cry. I think too many people misunderstand what real parkour is. As you know, there are many media try to make that parkour is something fancy like stunt. One thing it touch me as we are sharing the same thought. How happy I can say! Don't let the real spirit die! We have to spread this messages to others continuously! Good Work!

  • FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks for this wonderful vid, & keep up the great work!

  • "parkour = the proof of human devolution" most stupid comment i had seen, you know having more advanced tecnology doesn't meen that your more evolved. becuase what other animals had you seen that kill each other just for something that isnt need for living, yeah the fight for food, but they need it to live, humans fight for oil, you don't drink it, money? you don't eat it, so before when humans where "monkeys" where better times than now, oh and we are the only one that destroy our own planet

  • I need to get back in shape, I cannot believe I was missing out on such cool stuff! Instead of playing Mirrors Edge or Assassin's Creed I could actually do this if I train long and hard for it! :D

  • what's the song in the end?!

  • I still enjoy and get inspired by this video alone although i have seen it 3 times. It is purely amazing.

  • AWESOME! X)

  • Thanks again, and I am amazed you just give this away. I have seen folks sell DVD's on everything from martial arts, to gutting and skinning a deer and this is one of the most well done documentaries I have seen. Truely amazing stuff!!!

  • @maykolee Your comment = The proof of your own ignorance

  • @maykolee I fail to see how the practice of a discipline such as parkour could possibly trigger evolutionary regression. Plus the fact that devolution has no scientific basis, and it's simply not possibly to devolve back to a previous genus.

  • @Obsidian1138 take that ignorance!

he talks like someone who blindly follows all stories and myths that are told as facts :O

he brings shame to the guys who are waiting for people to turn into monkeys!!

and theyr'e called traceurs... try saying parkourers... lol

  • @Obsidian1138 dude he's stupid..just leave it.

  • @maykolee I think the fact that most people couldn't do this shows that in fact it could be proof of evolution, if everyone had these abilitys we would be a much fitter and more agile species.

  • @crazytosh1 Everyone *could* do this, if only we weren't so culturally lazy. I think this only highlights that humans are becoming less and less active; when agile, strong people like these guys come along, they seem that much more extraordinary - but it's all down to dedication, training.

  • @maykolee I fail to see how anyone can "stop" doing parkour. It's a way of life, what do you do now maykolee? Sit on your ass all day and eat twinkies? The fact that you say you did parkour for a fixed time period, proves that you haven't done it at all.

  • @maykolee , i bet monkeys are quite smarter than you (Y)

  • @maykolee If a monkey can do this, ill buy that monkey

  • @maykolee the fact that you called a traceur a "parkourer" proves that you obviously have no understanding of the discipline. keep your arrogant trolling to yourself

  • @maykolee @Obsidian1138 The opposite actually. I imagine a future where we are mentally AND physically capable. Does jumping around like monkeys draw back your intelligence to the level of monkeys too? Practicing parkour puts in control of your environment. Which is different from the future we'd have otherwise - a degenerate body and a large brain.

I'd rather practice parkour and contribute in advancing humanity towards a large brain WITH a strong, capable body. It's EVOLUTION.

  • @manonmercy Evolution using superior traits from the past. Please try to be open minded :]

  • @maykolee you area a fucking fag not parkour

  • @Bpeciko the idea of parkour (at least for me), is to "deevolve" past society and connect with what EVERY FUCKING ANIMAL ON THE PLANET DOES NATURALLY. They seem to manage just fine. Fuck society.

  • @maykolee omfg shut up bitch if you dont like the video or the sport DONT WATCH/MAKE IT FUCKING FALMER

  • @maykolee Parkourers... lol

You can't be real... Surely no one can be this stupid?

  • @maykolee Well maybe what you did wasnt parkour then. what you did was monkey act

  • @Obsidian1138 Nice video guys. It's made me start training my body up before getting out in the streets.

  • @maykolee na parkour is sign of evolution, because will you travel on your fucking car, you dont exercise, commenting this vid, still the same, but parkour improves your health, and all that shit, it makes you see the things different, but you wont understand that

  • @maykolee question... if u dont like it... why were u watchnig this?

  • @pyko234 better question if he didnt like it why would he do it for 3 years? its a troll yall.... nothing to see move along.

  • @griffinbird123 personally, i highly doubt he did any parkour for three years. lol people are dumb man... people are dumb...

  • @spartankiller369 agreed cuz remem/b/er everyone on the internet is a 7 foot tall 230 lbs powerlifter who owns many guns and has a PHD on everything...

  • @griffinbird123 hahaha xD
