I knew Carole personally. She was the daughter I never had. The pain of her loss is still fresh. I think both the company should pay dearly but Facebook should go bankrupt with whatthey should be made to pay. Facebook supposedly has to review every pic before it's posted so how did a photo of my poor Carole make it onto Facebook??? Yes the caught the bastard who murderd her but our suffering still goes on. Thank you for the video and for your thoughts.

i'd say millions of photos are uploaded to fb every minute. (just a guess) i just dont think its possible to catch everything. and if they did compensate unfortunatly i believe it would be too easy for others to make false claims. example off the top of my head; say you and a buddy sceme and take a picture of you getting out of the shower and he postes it and get money too. then others catch on. see where im going with this? stuff like that is the reason i don't use fb or ms.

I think the ambulance company that is bonded should be liable, they hired the bastard. He should be arrested, he should lose everything he owns and be forced to sell whatever he has and the parents should get it. As far as facebook, unless they had a system where all photos were approved ahead of time I'm not sure how they would know it was there until someone reported it, then it's too late. I cried everyday to and from work when my mom was murdered by her boyfriend. If there were pictures...I'm certain I would have killed myself because it hurt to breathe...I'm crying now, so what does that say about the pain her mother has when she out lives her child. Hi i think that the paramedic is the only one that should be sued he took the pic and posted he should pay. But facebook did not post it and all pics are reviewed electronic im pretty sure and how did facebook even know by a pic that she was deceased so facebook should not have to pay. And the county that the paremedic was in should not have to pay because i doubt any one was there with paremedic when photo was taken

Facebook can not just "hand over a photograph", it's digital. Furthermore, when this asshole Paramedic closed his account, the photo will have gone with it. If some sickos have already downloaded it already, I'm afraid that picture is probably somewhere on the internet for keeps and there is nothing FB can do.

The parents have a profound ignorance to how the internet works but they're lawyer should know better.

I don't think Facebook should be sued because they did not post the pic. The guy that posted it should get sued, remove the pic, get fired, and have to pay.

I have not seen the photo, thank God! I think the photo has been taken off of Facebook. Thankfully. It is not Facebooks fault. As soon as they catch shit like this they take it down. I think that the paramedic should be given time off without pay and give the family a public apology. Then the family should sue the paramedic; if they're going to sue anyone.

that's just sick....They should get money from the paramedic not facebook. Facebook doesnt control the pictures being uploaded. It was the paramedic who posted the picture.
