ARE YOU KIDDING ME! im from freehold too, i went to st rose. he sings this live much better then the album. the way he almost screams darkness on the edge of town for the last line of the song is incredible...doesnt do that on the album version thats for sure

On The Darkness on the Edge of Town album, he sings this song with CONVICTION, & Heart. But, I can understand why The Boss sings this song's verses so differently........ Because, "HE CAN" ! ! ! ! ! ! He's #1.
