Whoever says Damien is no hero can go jump... He is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and he has gone through more than the average person and has been able to pick himself up and continue his life!

This was such a dominant win, great effort all round. I wasn't going for Media Puzzle, but if my pick wasn't going to win it, I was hoping he would.

I remember watching this at school, screaming at the top of my lungs for Media Puzzle. I cried when he won it.

europe still focuses songly on stayers and middle distance horses whereas australia has shifted focus almost entirely into sprinter milers
its why your stayers typically do well in our longer races and our sprinters carve up your sprint races

But he won for his brother.And im sure his brother would have been proud to have a brother like Damien.
btw,does anyone have footage of the accident?I am yet to see it and im interested because everyone has different versions of what happened?Please tell me if you have because i would like to set myself straight!!LOL

I agree, he put the writing on the wall in his start prior at Geelong, smashing the course record there. But this was a dominant performance and an outstanding training effort.
