  • my dream is to play this song

  • very impressive interpretation... a few things I'd watch for, and I say this cause you are so good...

when you drop to "p" or "pp" you don't need to slow the tempo and make it feel like a stop... also always complete the musical phrase, like horowitz does... sometimes you would end your phrasing a few notes too early, rather than complete the phrase...whether is was an accelerando and crescendo together or a ritardando and diminuendo together, take the phrase to the end, don't bail out early :)

  • @college023 Thank you so much for the comment and I agree with your analysis, I'll take that into account next time.

  • @MarkKlett No problem, it was really a pleasure listening to you... if you haven't seen the Bolet Masterclasses on the Rach 3, I would watch them... incredible as far as developing your interpretation... but really, I'm super impressed with your playing and technique... :)

  • You executed it well. I think the recording microphone was hampered by the compressor. This spoils the interpretation. You should play again with the piano tuned and without putting the compressor into the microphone. The piano not tuned is not too bad then the microphone with compressor!

  • I did notice!

  • Thanks for posting! Very well played. But please have the Piano tuned!

  • This was REALLY good. I loved that the tempo wasn't too fast (as is sometimes the case with Horowitz and others).

I think it would make a big difference if you tuned the piano.

  • keep playing - keep learning - bravo

  • Interesting and quite ok i gotta say. This one in dis moll is quite hard. Like your free hands. Talented. You would need a good teacher. Thanks for posting anyway.

  • I cannot believe some of the rude comments that were posted. I love your music and I too have a digital piano and a baby grand and I love Scriabin. I have NOT mastered the D# minor that you perform here but it is a favorite. I wish to communicate with you...my channel is called androgynae...

  • Very nice dude! However you need to fix the piano:)

  • Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh, wat erg zeg, misschien is een stembeurt voor deze vleugel op zijn plaats???

  • Right. It's decided, then. I'm going to burn my sheet music and never attempt this again. :p I wish I could play this so well. :(

  • you can't love classical music and love yamaha at the same time...yamahaahahahaha

  • piano is horrible...it sounds like a harpsichord... :)

  • you should tune your piano it's horrible

  • where did you get that cool hoodie? :) nice rendiition

  • Great playing, love this song.

  • Piano sounds out of tune...

  • @ScriabinFanatic wow good ear for tuning you have ;)

  • maybe its a honkey tonk

  • that's a pretty crappy edition of chopin's music you got sitting on your piano! :P

    nice playing though!

  • i'm very interested to play this kind of classic music.. but i'm in a beginner-state. i've been playing for 4 years and i can barely play rachmaninoffs prelude in cmin...

how long have you been playing the piano?

  • Nice, good work :)

  • That's real good playing.

  • dude, ur so amazing!!!
