very impressive interpretation... a few things I'd watch for, and I say this cause you are so good...
when you drop to "p" or "pp" you don't need to slow the tempo and make it feel like a stop... also always complete the musical phrase, like horowitz does... sometimes you would end your phrasing a few notes too early, rather than complete the phrase...whether is was an accelerando and crescendo together or a ritardando and diminuendo together, take the phrase to the end, don't bail out early :)
@MarkKlett No problem, it was really a pleasure listening to you... if you haven't seen the Bolet Masterclasses on the Rach 3, I would watch them... incredible as far as developing your interpretation... but really, I'm super impressed with your playing and technique... :)
You executed it well. I think the recording microphone was hampered by the compressor. This spoils the interpretation. You should play again with the piano tuned and without putting the compressor into the microphone. The piano not tuned is not too bad then the microphone with compressor!
Interesting and quite ok i gotta say. This one in dis moll is quite hard. Like your free hands. Talented. You would need a good teacher. Thanks for posting anyway.
I cannot believe some of the rude comments that were posted. I love your music and I too have a digital piano and a baby grand and I love Scriabin. I have NOT mastered the D# minor that you perform here but it is a favorite. I wish to communicate with you...my channel is called androgynae...
i'm very interested to play this kind of classic music.. but i'm in a beginner-state. i've been playing for 4 years and i can barely play rachmaninoffs prelude in cmin...
my dream is to play this song

This was REALLY good. I loved that the tempo wasn't too fast (as is sometimes the case with Horowitz and others).
I think it would make a big difference if you tuned the piano.

Right. It's decided, then. I'm going to burn my sheet music and never attempt this again. :p I wish I could play this so well. :(
