@kharkhov Yes, that's my argument. Apart from videos of somebody's kid riding his bike in the driveway, virtually everything on YouTube is a copyright violation.
That was the first time I'd ever heard a hard core My Way before. But as lame as some would think it would have turned out, it was actually really cool. Thanks for the video and please keep em coming. If you get a chance, could you make a video of "Sideways" by Citizen Cope? I'd really like to get that one if you got the time. Thank again for taking the time!!!
PT can u please do a cover of keep yourself alive by queen and into the sun by grand funk railroad? i especially need to see the solo for queen, Thanks.
hey pt! could you do a crash course on how to pick songs by ear?
for instance in this song when a bass note changes how would you go about looking for it on the fretboard?i mean when you were in your early years of figuring out songs by ear how would you do?not now that you hear a note and know what that is.
@angela21215 Don't listen to the other guy, you don't need perfect pitch to figure out songs by ear. I've not got anything approaching perfect pitch and I figure out all my songs by ear these days.
Mostly it's just practice. Gradually ween yourself off guitar tab and chords for songs. When figuring out a song I generally start by working out the chords for it. Even if someone is only playing power chords or riffing most of the time a song has an implied chord progression.
@angela21215 The only way to learn it is do it. Start with chord based songs (pop hits are great because they generally only use a few and they don't throw any hum-dingers your way). Hum or sing the melody (doesn't need to be in perfect tune) and bash out the chords 'til you get the right ones. Check your answers online the first couple of times. Eventually your ear learns to get it, and the obvious cadences become second nature.
wow! this is fucking great. very nice job.

How can you get stuff deleted for copyright reasons? Ridiculous. 90% of You Tube would disappear of everyone did this.

Hey privettricker,
Why don't you make a virtual jam video with other musicians? A band, singer, or so something like that?
Thanks,
MultiTimL

Man, from Joni Mitchell to Sid Vicious - you are eclectic. Absolutely love it.
Also, for some reason I really like the sound of this LP out of all of your electrics.
Thanks again for all the great videos.

Claude François, would be proud that his song is still plaid (and interpreted).

@angela21215 He's obviously got perfect pitch or close to it. Unfortunately that can't be taught.
