  • That was rattling more than usual. The 2003-2004 have a clutch rattling. Doesn't hurt it at all. If u want the noise to stop replace the clutch. I got a 03 with a aftermarket exhaust and it sounds.... Like a bear.... A burning bear (in a good way)!

  • i love the Timmies cup on the back of it………:-)

  • @2005powerstroke it was good :-)>

  • The Rx1 is so friggen Tippy in corners. I switched to an Apex and I am so very happy and still alive.

  • @Hotelmotelkfc Tippy? What, you dont shift your weight or something? I've no problems with mine up here in Northern Ontario, it actually performs quite nice in the corners, im used to it and i think it's perfect for me, and i can keep up with my buddies on their skidonts and pullurasses.. cats though, seems each Cat rider has a mental problem so they are usually fast...

  • @mattmatt115 Obviously you are a follower not a leader. Keeping up with doo's & pullurasses but not cats? Sure if you drive real slow you won't notice the tipping problem, I guess. An RX1 is supposed to be built for speed and comfort. Got rid of mine cause the thing is a death trap in the corners. They fixed the problems with the Apex. Trust me I know I spent 5 grand on Elka shocks to try and fix the problem when Rxton was the only 4 stroke on the mkt. Rx1 is a death trap in corners.

  • @Hotelmotelkfc Sorry you wasted your money on shocks... The only "problem" is the "narrow" ski stance and its not a problem even if you dont "fix" it but you can upgrade to a wider stance that is, if you cant handle it the way it is, which obviously you couldnt....It really isn't a big deal, you have the newer model anyway, so you are "cooler" now *eye roll*

  • @mattmatt115 You are obviously a child that is why I am responding as a safety warning to all unsuspecting RX1 riders. Yamaha admitted that the linkage on the first year RX1's was to short. I added longer links and it still tipped. Very dangerous in certain high speed or tight twisty corners. I am not trying to be cooler than you kid, that's a given. Just be aware of these things if you're friend let's you ride his rx1 again this year : D

  • @Hotelmotelkfc "Kid".. LOL grow up, chump

  • You need a Cobra Blue Chrome windshield.. Make that thing look very sexy!!

Great machine dude, ive got the same thing and LOVE IT for the past 5 years!!!! And will continue loving it for the next 15!!!!!

  • no good sound://

  • @hondamattias everything rattles

  • @rex4x4 mine rattles everywhere but runs like a demon!!!!

  • It sounds healthy.

  • @PissOnJapScrap lol its the clutch

  • @rex4x4 I ment the sound of the pipes.

  • I just took my 03 mxz 600 out for a ride yesterday-the trails suck up here. Just tried Tim Hortens for the first time today.better than dunken doughnuts

  • nice sled!

  • @boredmud id love to own it :-)

  • @rex4x4 me toooooo lol cheers!

  • @TheHondaAbuser this isn't my sled and back in the day I used to be like your comment ..... Now I'm just lazy :-P

  • If any of you guys don't think it is cold ; go check the temeperatures for North Bay -20, -22 , -29 .That might be why the Yamaha had trouble starting and the fact that the clutch etc made too much noise ....DAM COLD !!!

  • Wild sled

  • @361Ross that it is .

  • @claudgtaforum clutch was noisy too lol

  • @claudgtaforum all the plastics n stuff were rattling ..... i asked the same thing .

  • i likes me some yamaha's never had a sled so i don't know about them but i love thier bikes and 4 wheelers.

  • @daddytech they make some nice stuff

  • Comment removed

  • @rex4x4 indeed they do that's been a really good name brand for a lotta years

  • 4 stroke sleds. what a joke

  • @TheHondaAbuser i think ill take a 4 stroke sled over a 2 stroke now .... im tired of the rebuilding :-(

  • @rex4x4 changin oil every ride, gettin your valves done when you are gettin stuck continuesly swearing at this tank of a sled with a tiny littl track on it ill be passin you with my 2 stroke on the walker probaly doin a wheelie I want you to think about that

  • @TheHondaAbuser Changing oil everyride? What the fuck, you running ground up cow fat for oil? Idiot. you change it ONCE a season, and then you DONT need to buy anymore every fuckin ride you go out on. And theres no chance your coal burning piece of shit is going to keep up with this. You want to soar through the air, dont buy a Yamaha, better yet, dont buy a sled by a fucking glider. This is a MANS sled, not a little boy sled i can see why you hate on it so much. Pure jelousy and weakness

  • @mattmatt115 yes this is a mans sled. cause it takes 3 fucking people to get them unstuck. You must ride trails alot or your american

  • @TheHondaAbuser Um no, im Canadian, and i have a warrior, and i ride the powerlines all the time, sometimes even alone, and only a fool needs 3 people to get unstuck, or someone with pencils for arms. Maybe you guys need to work out for a few years before you should ride an Rx1. I'll tell ya, i dont get stuck unless i go looking to do just that.

And im no fucking Americunt. My point still stands, this is a heavy sled, but its a mans sled for that reason. A boy will not be able to handle it

  • wow thatts pretty sad that it took that long to start up i mean its a great sled but theres something wrong even being cold if its that hard to start up. My artic cat ZL 2003 550 starts within 2 pulls. Might need to look into that it should not be that hard to start and that even looks EFI.

  • @walkingfreak i found out after that it had been sitting for a long time ... my buddy works outta town plus it was stupid cold .
