i had just recently thought about the name of this anime. i had some time ago put together the play on azuma(creator of azumanga) and manga but not the play on daioh and da yo. im not sure if that is intentional but if it were it would make the name, when parsed out totally, "azuma manga da yo" meaning "its azuma's manga!"
