I had the Chance to meet Lawanda at Legenda in Raleigh, NC, When she gave up the crown for Miss Legends 2006, She is one of the best performers i have ever seen, I hope everyone gets the chance to watch her perform as Mary J.

I was a DJ at a club called RAPS in Dallas, Texas back in the early 90's. I haven't seen Lawanda in years but I can clearly see she is still flawless. Always a sweetheart and a pleasure to work with as well.
