i know that some angel eye conversions are supposed to heat up and melt plastic. Is it the eyes or the power unit that does this? Also, are there different types of lights (i.e., some seem to be very expensive, while others are only a few dollars)?

@aminevich some people run high powered halogens in their cheap angel eyes which causes them to over head, running LED technology in your angel eyes you have no problems.. we've sold hundreds with nobody experiencing over heating

Blue, Green, Red, or any other color other than white or amber are illegal to display unless you're an authorized emergency vehicle. I checked with my DMV and blue angel eyes are an invitation for a nice ticket by the cops and am sure the rules are the same across the US, Canada, and Europe.

Reason I think it isnt an ///M is bc it has no mesh grill in the front bumper toward the end of the video and there are no reflectors on aftermarket bumpers, which this car has none, unless they did a reflector delete

First off, 30 LED's DO NOT LOOK LIKE TRASH. The 60 LED versions, as seen in this vid, have a chrome back around the back of the ring to stop the light from bleeding. CCFL is the real trash...blow a ballast and then tell me how much better they are. It is funny however reading little kids posts talking like they know something about cars when they've maybe been driving 6 months. Nice angel eyes.

That these angel eyes are fully visible in daylight is really amazing.

And they are better than the original ones, because the original ones are like "weak" powered, but these.. Them really show themselfs..

there's 60 per ring, so they blend nicely for the most part, and the headlamp casing doesn't have a rippled effect... so it wouldn't cause the "dotting" effect you'r talking about. i have a nice pair of DDE titaniums and they flow nicely all around, with a constant glow reflection on the interior headlamp case

Don't need a bigger battery but you do have to put your headlights into the oven to make the glue that seals it malleable... Definitely something i plan on doing to mine though

you don't have to bake the lamps on the e46's, as far as i know that was only for older model e53/X5's

i have installed a couple sets of DDE "angel eyes" and they take an hour or two to wire and place

okay, so in this video the orion angel eyes look okay, but that's only because the camera is not able to capture that there are a bunch of separate bulbs that do NOT look like a solid circle. Some like it, the rest of the world knows that lad and bmw do not go together
