I've left glock mags fully loaded for several years and all work perfectly fine. But, in response to the original question on how to make it easier to get the last round in, I've found the easiest way is to leave the mag fully loaded for a while. You can certainly do what you wish.

I have a Glock 32 and a tremendous time finding ammo as you may well know, but at your advice I have purchased a Glock 23 barrel conversion and now I am content. I find loading the Glocks very difficult so I purchased a speed loader called "Uplula. Have you used this or have a recommended method of loading rounds into a magazine?

I've always just used my hands and thumb without any problems. Of course, I pay no attention to who many rounds some of the Glock mags are "supposed" to hold. Glock is a little ambitious in this, I think. I load most of them down one round. for a variety of sensible reasons, to me. You might look up the BrassStacker. They sent me one to try out, and it seems to be a quality item - pretty cleverly made. If I used something to load, this one looks pretty good.

One tip is to load a full magazine (using the glock loader or another assisting method) and let it sit, full, for a few days or weeks. That will help compress the fresh spring a bit and make it easier to fully load the mag the next time.

I wouldn't consider this "fame." I think it's mostly people wanting to give some tangible support, as well as some fascination with objects that have been shot or recovered from a range. I recall being very fascinated with finding bullets that have been fired and things that have been shot. Heck it's still pretty interesting! :-) Guess I"m still a kid at heart.
