Jesse was one of the people that wrote this song, it wasn't Leona Lewis' to start with. Jesse's record label didn't like it so they didn't put it on Departure. Simon Cowel needed songs for Lewis' debut so that's how she got this song, because her voice sounded right to sing it. Jesse re-recorded this though and added it to Departure as a bonus track.

@DanielleakaBarbie no, he didnt sell it to Leona. his producers dint like it at first. and during that time, Simon Cowell was looking for a new original song for Leona and someone gave him the lyrics and chords to this song, and he made Leona sing it (obviously aft going through all the legal shit). When Leona's version became a major hit, only than did Jesse's producers let him record the song
