Sure these specs aren't like the top in the world, but I'm sure its a really good pc. Quad core, Decent gfx card, 4GB RAM, if it's anything like mine it'll run a dream.
Would have been better if you had got green lights to match your matrix screen, But other than that awesome rig. I plan on building my new one in a couple of weeks.
Whats the point with christmastrees in the computer? never understood that.
Anyway, nice setup for an mid-class system! What OS are you running? The only thing i woulda' changed for something else is your case. ;) Antec P180 or summet.
I disagree with you. Compared to most Intel-systems at the same level, it wont catch up. In comparison, AMD 9750 wont even stick up with Intel Q9300 in most performance tests.
Plus, both Phenom II and Core i7 just hit the market now.
And the Radeon 4850 sticks in comparison to nVidia 9800GTX/GTX250, I wont call that high end. You have to hit GTX 285/Radeon HD4870 and intel Q9650 to reach the high end today imo. No AMD CPU's sticks up for todays rate.
i would have to say the 9800GT is much nicer then the 4850 because it has a better core clock and better bus, but i haven't ever put an ati card in any of my boxes so i decided to try it out for this build. I'm sorta feeling like I will be going back to Nvid for my next box but i'm not sure because my 4850 has been working pretty well so far...
yes i am bias towards Amd hardware because i know a developer that works for Amd and so i feel i must support Amd. Plus i've always liked Amd a lot more in general, but thats just me.
lol, u use linux
