@DarkBonesDaku - Exactly. You can only get it from the miniboss Master Hand! They were intending, of course, to make sure that people would have to search for the secret (some would never know it existed due to having their own favourite power already and didn't want to try sucking up Master Hand, unless they unlocked the secret room with all abilities, similar to the Trial Room 1 and 2 from Dyna Blade in Kirby Super Star). Of course it's broken, it's KIRBY FROM SUPER SMASH BROS.!

did you use AVI to record this on an emulator?

A TAS is always a movie file that consists of the specific frame numbers on which certain button presses are done. You can play this movie file back on an emulator and it will always have the same outcome. You can then record a media file (avi) during such a playback. I used the Xvid mpeg4-codec for this and other videos.

It's a "Tool Assisted Speedrun".

It's done with an emulator. Constant saveing, reloading, frame advancement, and slowdown.

Because Darkmind 6 is in a short period of invincibility everytime I hit him, and calling the kirbys would only have slowed me down and added lag.

Yes it is. Hammer - ground/midair swing - 5 - dash - 2 - fire uppercut - 2 (charge), 25 (swing) Smash - punch - 1 - midair spin - 2 - hammer - 10 (ground), 9 (midair) - stone - 10 - final cutter - 2 (up), 6 (down), 2 (energy wave) The swing with hammer deals good damage but is just damn slow, and mid-air spins are weaker than Smash.

is the pace at which you shoot the stars in the final battle set by firing rate or by the enemy having temporary invulnerability after each hit? if it's the former, you should be able to save an extra frame or 2 by moving up right in from of the enemy for the last shot.

Your suggestion would only make the encode shorter, but not the movie which ends the input at the time I press the button to shoot the last star.

I shot the stars at the first frame possible each time.

The boss has a certain invulnerability pediod but that's not of importance.

ah, i see. i had assumed that timing was done based on when the boss took the final hit, since to my knowledge that was generally accepted as the end of the timing in games like this where it ends with the defeat of the final boss.
