My apologies for the typo. Also, I urge you all not to feel bad, we could have it worse. The whole point of the camp, from my perspective, is to show the kids and the world that we are more than just Tourrettes people; we are talented, respectable people. We have an annual talent show with talents ranging from musical ability to comedy to stunts. All we want is for people to look past the tics to the person.

I'm 14 years old, I have this type of problem called Twitching. Some people notices it, and I noticed that they noticed, even with teachers that they don't say anything about it. I also keep pressing hard on the keyboard "keys" while I type. I drink water, mostly everyday, and each vegeterian food. Uhm, I think I have this Tourette Syndrome because I mostly have mouth twitches. Also, I'm a very fast typer, and I have a very sloppy hand-writing. Since I'm talking about twitching now,I'm holdingit

People who hate people with Tourette Syndrome are stupid. I have always been bullied when I was in elementary school. I did not realize that I had Tourette Syndrome and what it was. Bless her. My daughter has been diagnosed with tourettes. Her tics are very similar to isabellas but not as severe. She cries at times and says mommy i wish i wasn't like this, i wish i could stop. I tell her, Chelsea if you had all the disabilites in the world you would still be perfect to me. There is no cure but hopefully with time they will decrease and if they don't, it will be just another part of my daughter to love. xx
