Also Ivey does not seem to believe him and some other players don't seem to believe him either. Look at their faces when Benjamin tells them that he thought that Negreanu might have 9 10 spades. They do not seem to believe him and Ivey certainly does seem to doubt that Benjamin thought about that.

He probably thought that Brunson has a qeeun but he never thought that one of them had a flush. He also immediatly said 'flush' after Brunson shoved his calling chips in. So that confirms his thoughts about him thinking that any flush is good. That means he lied very fast after Elezra said that Negreaunu had 10 9 flush. I would probably say the same to look smart. But the truth seems to be that Benjamin lied. And he lied again in the interview. Gabe Kaplan thinks the same, and he knows poker.
