I  WILL be there in the summer WHITEHORSE and was wondering about the sights? Is there a better starting point then another? If I travelled to the East from Whitehorse would I find better (rapids) hotels and accommodations or do I look West and, or North (depending on wife & friend) to see (swells) the beauty of the Yukon?

Where did you guys start from and end where? How many towns are there along the Yukon River?

@traiter82 The start from whitehorse and end in Dawson City. Ive done the trip before (im from whitehorse). On the river between Whitehorse and Dawson there is: Carmacks, Pelly Crossing, and Fort Selkirk.
