I'm serious, this looks like something that should be released into theatres. If there is a way possible for you to do that and maybe add to the film to make it a little bit longer, do it. I would pay money to see it in theatres. Also, the baby boy is sooooooo adorable!!!!!!!!!!!! The mother deserved what she got. Karma hurts, doesn't it? ;)

at first I thought...here we go, another stupid movie! But I have got to say I LOVED IT! This whole situation hits close to home with me, being a mom I have NEVER, EVER trusted ANYONE with my kids! Neither one of my girls have EVER been with a baby sitter or daycare! If I were in his shoes I don't think I would have stopped, just watching this made my blood boil and brought tears to my eyes, because this stuff happens everyday...so sad, but true!

i came late but yea the film is good- true story? that spy cam tech is pretty appealing now- glad he didn't kill her though that kind of justice is sweet, but it is a two edged sword. some people seem to knock the details- but i see this film as a presentation/representation of something- not the thing in its literal form- so blood and guts would have just made for hard viewing. its a scary subject so it would be bad taste to push it beyond that.

This doesn't make the situation any better. It just encourages abuse, encourages people to not get caught, and subliminally says abuse is ok to justify if you have your reasons. And that if someone abuses you, or someone close to you, that you can abuse them with the proper reasoning and justification.

i saw your short film. its awesome n nice quality.

i just wonder how to compress your file while you upload in youtube. as i saw it was 8 min video and with good quality in 1080.

i use sony vegas pro.

if you can tell me the render setting for best quality video with best compressor that would be great. i m also doing one project and when i edit, the file becomes so big and cant upload.

@deeeeeppppp123 thank you. I don't work with vegas. First I export the master video with blu-ray quality 1080p-24p (23.976) with constant bitrate 40mbps - PCM audio. Then for youtube (etc..) I use "MeGUI modern media encoder". 2 passes h.264 (blu-ray preset level 4.1) at 8000mbps. Audio : aac 256kbps. Then I mux it with "tsMuxer GUI" as m2TS. Since I'm a yt partner I don't have upload limitations.. so the high bitrate encoding, the better result... Hope it helped you :)

You forgot to add blood to the moms face inbetween clips, when she was getting ravaged by the father (6:42). Also after that, the mom would've never been awake, moving, or with her hands folded from such a fatal attack. She would've been layed out arms spread. Other then that (minor) mis-hap, its def a pro short film man. Really fantastic with coordinating shots, film work, editing & colour correction. What you did was not easy. It takes alot of time. Remarkable work overall my friend !!

With that said, i suggest fewer hits with a little blood avoiding multiple death blows hahaha & your suggestion to the story stands 100% correct. We should get up together & film man. I have an amazing tv/documentary concept that is protected by wrighters guild of america. Just needs to be submitted to either blu-ray disc or tv networks. Need a filming partner.

What camera and editing software was involved, and how long did it take? From start to finished product?

@only1bae Thank you very much. It was shot on Canon 7d with Nikon & Carl Zeiss lenses. Post-prod with Adobe premiere pro CS4. It took about 3 months of preparations and 2 weeks for shooting, 2 weeks for music and sound fx (5.1 audio channel mixing & mastering), 1 month for post-production (editing, grading...).
