Most of the modern preachers don't know what they are speaking.Crucified Christ is not the subject of the modern preachers.They are not analysing what actually God's word is..They are taking a single word from a Bible verse without going all the verse of that chapter..So they are misinterpreting everything.Most of the preachers use most of the time to compel the crowd to say hallelujah..But actually those are getting the spiritual feelong will say "Hallelujah" by self.

That was my case before I got baptized. I thought I might just see where it took me if I listened to my parents and to tell you the truth it was not all that bad. After a few months, I got into it as well, I think I saw why there where worshiping and thanking GOD.

It might be the same with you, try it out but don't get mad when they yell (they are trying to make a point, I think). If they do yell in a calm voice ask the following: "Okay, what is it that you want me to do." Remember CALM .^_^.
