WONDERFUL. One of my favourite tracks from video games, and you've captured it perfectly - the subtle orchestral and atmospheric sounds in the background are something else, and the fact that the drums and bass are actually done correctly (something rare in remixes, I find - usually the percussion is too obtrusive else non-existent) is fantastic. With a lower tempo (which wouldn't benefit the song), this could easily have been a Prime track.
this is a great remix of surface runner, probably one of the best of the music of the metroid series. its true that return of samus has always gotten little attention, but this remix sounds great. this sounds like the original with a unique twist. the song is upbeat, adventuress, and there is also that sense of danger that grows the further samus delves into this massive underground world. the song also compliments the title "return of samus" beautifully. this is impressive and be proud

Your version of this is what I would expect from an officially released "reboot", like what they did with Bionic Commando ReArmed. I love how you stay so true to the source material, but also run with it and take it places that simply blow the listener away. 10 out of 10.
Metroid II really needs more love. It's like... the black sheep of the Metroid games. A majority of the soundtrack is odd, the game itself is a little off even compared to the first, and of course, it's all monochrome. But all and all, I personally feel that it was a worthy entry into the series. And I liked the soundtrack.

Did you know there was a fan made metroid cd covering alot of songs of the games you should have been on that cd its called harmony of a hunter alot of the songs suck badly compared to what you can do i was mad when i saw that you whernt on their even if you didnt know about it.
