It's no question Ron Paul can win the Presidency, but can he win the Republican nomination? Unfortunately a good chunk of registered Republicans won't vote for Dr. Paul in their state's primaries, and most states have closed primaries. So if you want Dr. Paul to be a Presidential candidate, register Republican(even if you hate Republican's or belong to another party) and vote for Ron Paul in your state's Republican primaries. You can always switch later.
"Consider our situation, sir; go to the poor man and ask him what he does. He will inform you that he enjoys the fruits of his labor, under his own fig tree, with his wife and children around him, in peace and security. Go to every other member of society; you will find the same tranquil ease and content; you will find no alarms or disturbances. Why, then, tell us of danger, to terrify us into an adoption of this new form of government?"
"But now, sir, the American spirit, assisted by the ropes & chains of consolidation, is about to convert this country into a powerful & mighty empire. If you make the citizens of this country agree to become the subjects of 1 great consolidated empire of America, your government will not have sufficient energy to keep them together. Such a government is incompatible with the genius of republicanism. There will be no checks, no real balances, in this government."

Looks like the shills are changing accounts.... Calling Ron Paul a communist just shows the 100% ignorance of his paid shill detractors. Is 35K really worth that much to you?
@mkucstars1 I didn't say that you were a democracy, I said democracy doesn't really exist. What definition of democracy are you using? Seems like your definition of republic might be a bit skewed, what definition are you using?
We are the most influential country in the world. We are the American Dream. What does that mean to you? We "choose" to battle degenerates instead or lead by example. Our example is war, our power is military.... Liberty needs no military, it protects itself with the power of choice. Freedom is the goal of every person in the world. We all want to do what we "choose." my choice is Ron Paul! I will not vote for anyone else. With Great Power comes Great Responsibility... With the USA power and re
"A policy of mutually assured respect will result in" the US being the laughing stock of the world. "Oh all we have to do is be nice to them and they will love us." LMFAO
Only kids will believe these lies. haha. He's using Obamanics. Lie and hope something sticks with the young and dumb. Reagan and Gingrich won the war against communism and the USSR. This buffoon ran off whimpering, ripping up his Republican membership.
@MrSheniah Well, I'm not a kid. And I'm from a GOP family of well over a century. It's you that are an aberration. And Gingrich is a big government Wilsonian .progressive. Like his progressive heroes: Teddy Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson and FDR. You are sadly undereducated over propagandized. I believe the current term for that is; "clueless".
@MrSheniah Paul and Obamanics? That has to rank as one of the most absurd statements I've heard. And, I'm not a kid.
@MrSheniah I'm thinking Ron Paul probably wept when he learned of the demise of the Soviet Empire. That is until he was able to twist logic to call the US an empire.
I don't recall him saying once, that we should weaken our military, he never mentions cutting money to the military, or decreasing the size of the military. Mutually Assured Respect only means, to me at least; not invading, occupying, or otherwise attacking foreign countries to maintain an International Police Force. I don't believe we should be Team America here, however I do believe from time to time certain people need to be taken care covertly to ensure global safety, ie: Osama bin Laden.
Nobody has abandoned the "goal of having peace". We just know that Ron Paul's lunacy would lead to complete destruction, not peace. This video is about the stupidest collection of crap I've ever seen from RP. The idea that we didn't need our nuclear arsenal. Go ahead, run that scenario through your head where we had ideas and no nukes and the USSR had nukes. Go ahead, how you think that would have worked out.
@malagaent I bet you have ghosts in your closet and a boogie man under your bed. How do you find the courage to go outside? But you might be right. Everybody might be out to get you. How pitiful.
@derac I tried real hard to make sense of that comment, but just couldn't do it. I don't worry about the Boogey man under my bed, I know that Ron Paul spends most of his time on the mother ship, not under my bed.
There is no 99% and the ones who think they are wont vote for Ron Paul, they'll vote for Obama or sleep late and forget.
There are only the 53% who work and produce to support the 47% who are lazy bastards sleeping in parks bitching about the 1% instead of trying to become the 1%.
@malagaent Where in this Video did Ron say "We don't need our nuclear arsenal."? He is saying, The USSR has 30,000 Nukes, They threatened to wipe us out, And had the capability to do it, But did we attack them? No, And they were our biggest threat in our history, We talked to them. Were the only country to ever use a Nuke on another.
His policy is simple. Don't go overseas using force to tell other how to live, we would object to it here, And there going to object to us over there.
"We didn't need the nuclear arsenal, ideas won the cold war." or something like that. the point is he dismissed the role the weapons played and left it solely to "ideas" which is close. The weapons themselves did not win the cold war or defeat communism. Reagan defeated the USSR. But without the weapons it wouldn't have mattered. The policy of Mutually Assured Destruction kept the stand off as a stand off and allowed the rest to play out. As for communism, well...
@malagaent There is is again. This American Superiority complex. You act as if America is the Alpha & the Omega, The Beginning & the end. WE DON'T RUN THE WORLD, The constitution does not give us the authority to run the world. We don't have some God given right to have the strongest Military & Economy, and use it to dominate the world. The US was not created to be an Empire, but it has become one, 900 Bases in 140 Country's? That's not an empire?
Communism wasn't defeated. It was beaten down and broken up. But the communists are still there, still trying. And many of them are right at home with you Ron Paul freaks. You and they share a hate of the United States and of the status of the US as the sole military, economical, and ideological super power on the planet.
You both say the US is an aggressor. Untrue. You both say the US is an empire, again, untrue (except the ideological & economic part) which ISN'T a problem.
@malagaent The United States itself, was an IDEA, This was much more powerful than war. Even you just said "except the ideological part". You clearly don't understand your History, The U.S.S.R collapse was Economical, They BANKRUPTED themselves. If they would have been sound financially they would still be here today.
I want this country to prosper as the founder did, But there vision was not for us to be "Sole Policeman, Sole National Builder, And King of the world."
@malagaent And lastly, I'm not some outsider, I live in this country, and have all my life, But what authority do we have to tell others how to live? I think we are an exceptional nation, Be we should never impose our goodness on others.
Paul said it best when he said, "We should show other that freedom works threw example, and maybe they will try to emulate us."
We don't have a right to dominate the world in anyway, Our military in for the Defense of this country & it's people.
@malagaent He is saying an Idea, peace & diplomacy, is much better for us than Murder, guns, bribes, and unconstitutional wars. If you do a little studying you would know diplomacy is what got us out of that situation, not going to war.
Paul policy's would lead to real peace & prosperity. So... Nation building, policing the world, telling others how to live, buying friendships, and taking away our own liberty with things such as the Patriot act is the way to go...
It sounds good, in a perfect world, maybe... but not in one where countries treaten to Blow Ireal of the face of the map if they could. What we dont need is a another Idealistic man who thinks he can get the world to like us if we just leave them alone.
Thats been tried, and it has failed. Many countries would love it if this guy got in, especially Russia and China.... In the REAL world, we must project stregth
@jwill151 I don't want to start an argument but a couple questions/comments. I like what Ron Paul stands for (the original constitution), but as far as I know though he's a corporate lackey in disguise, just to be there in case people want to vote for the constitution. I did get a worried impression this video's suggestions may weaken us. But maybe, just the corporate hold on the world, and free the people? It's so complicated. We need definite borders and cultures back. And peace.
@yabaworld I know my comment barely made any sense. The US has been getting into other countries for 100 years to control them slightly to make sure they don't rise up and attack us. That's logical to want to do that. But the harder way is to simply make friends. If we have a strong army & become untouchable, we can sit at home and take care of ourselves. We just need to make sure we can grow enough food to support ourselves, then our time can be spent improving & inventing.
@yabaworld How is someone that wants to take the power away from the corporatist state by ending subsidies, special deals and by even the playing field between American based businesses and giant multinationals? No, you've got it all wrong. You have only too look at TARP and supporters of a opaque Federal Reserve to find the real corporatist .
@cornas47 i'm not saying that his views are corporatist. But if I was a big corporation and I thought that one day people may wake up and vote for someone who will end corruption, then I would pay to run someone for office who claimed to want to end corruption, but in reality he would be working for me, and the moment he got elected turn around and help my company. So it IS possible he is acting, saying what we want, and really is working for the company.
@yabaworld Except that he's been saying the same thing for 30 years. That's a long time to try to sell something without success... maybe he really means it. Please remember also that lobbyists don't bother trying to buy Ron Paul. He's never been for sale.
@mkucstars1 But that is the exact point I am trying to make. Maybe he is a backup plan for the lobbyists over the last 30 years. Only Ron Paul himself or his closest friends know if he is honest about it. If I was "the company" running America, I would have some guy like him and keep him around for 30 years just in case americans ever woke up and needed someone like him to vote for. Then the moment he was in he would really work for me just like every other president.
@yabaworld This is synarchist would do & what has in fact been done:
Permit a few officials - like Paul, Kucinich, Nader, Sanders, etc. - on the margins of the political system to prolong the hopes of the few attentive, informed voters who are wise to the unfathomable corruption that runs both parties & the military for the sake of evil corporate geopoltical & financial aims. Use them to prop up the illusion of a representative govt. not fully rigged & then tear them down w/ silence & smears.
@mkucstars1 Do you not think the people in power over everything are smart enough to do something like this? They have to be intelligent to get there. Of course they have backup plans for everything. And I think if Ron Paul wins it will be because he is helped by the media, and good intentioned or not, his views will leave Americans to fend for themselves because the companies think they have a good enough hold to rule from the borders. And an excuse to start WWIII

Impeach O B O M B M A. END THE FEDS Impeaching Obama might slow the feds down. The feds are running scared of Ron Paul. However I do not think we have to time to wait for an election. Bush and Cheney and their cronies can wait till we fix the economy up. Then they should be jailed. They should not be allowed to get away with war crimes.
There should be videos like these with Ron Pauls message about the economy, internal affairs, health care, monetary crisis, and so on !
I like the decent and honest explanations, they are very convincing! The media does not give him the chance to explain himself, so RP's campaign should use Youtube to present his full explanations!
I agree with previous posters, it's extremely important that we do as much as we can to get this man elected. I changed my voter registration to Republican, I tell everyone who will listen about Paul - working with the public I get to speak with a lot of people from all walks of life... amazingly most people I talk to don't know who he is(!), and I'm posting RP videos on my FB regularly. Paul is the only electable candidate who will work to avoid WW3 or complete economic erosion of the US.
Youth- speak up to your parents, to your friends, and to your coworkers about Ron Paul while we still have an opportunity to vote for him in the primary!
Now is the time to make a stand and to be a true patriot. The security of our liberties depends on YOU! Take a stand. Become a delegate, join a meetup group, and register as a republican. SPEAK UP about Ron Paul. It is up to YOU to make the difference!
"Liberty means responsibility. That is why most men dread it." - George Bernard Shaw
"Commerce with all nations, alliance with none, should be our motto."
- Thomas Jefferson, 1799
"I deem [one of] the essential principles of our government [to be] peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations, entangling alliances with none."
@GeminiAussie That's great, mate! Thanks for your support. Do you think any of the political parties in Australia could at some point run on Paul's platform? Are there any political figures in Australia embodying the spirit of America's founders?
@jme6141994 If Ron Paul ever managed to conjure up some voodoo ritual and become president, well then you would really have to be scared. After he destroys our defenses and the world comes down on us you will be scared.
Thankfully, we are not going to have to worry about that, this freak will never get the nomination, ever. We would have more of a chance of Karl Marx's corpse winning.
@CharlesManley His foreign policy is simple: Our presence in other countries puts our national security at more risk. Ron Paul has had the strongest national defense policies forever, as mentioned by Ronald Reagen during the 1970's. We are bankrupt, we can't afford to police the world! His stance hasn't changed, so the fact that you "were" a RP supporter, but are now not, tells us that you really don't look into the politicians you support. So do us a favor, and don't vote in 2012.
@CharlesManley I don't understand your "cult reference." I'm an independent thinker, and don't need a person on YouTube, or anybody for that matter telling me what to think. Do you call all arguments that are not in-line with your own "Cult-like?" Do you link a weak military with a cut in militarism spending? Ron Paul believes in a strong military, so like I said...you were confused from the get-go.

@Tychristofferson Your second point is so wrong-minded I can't even stress it enough. We are not some moral barometer by which the rest of the world should be forced to live. We should just focus on making our country better then allow people to pick up on that idea and run with it in their own governments around the world. It's called "leading by example instead of force."
@Tychristofferson He's saying if we keep on this path, Bankruptcy will bring us to our knees. He wants to bring troops home willingly.
unilateral American dominance is a bad thing in regard to going overseas using force to tell them how to live. unilateral American people dominance should always be the case. The people over the Government.
wouldn't it be unfair to all people to let them know that GOD has their back,There is nothing less for him to to do,only to prove that his word is his
Go Ron Go We should be very thankful Ron Paul is fighting for us, I'm sure he would sooner be home riding his bike and enjoying his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Now we have to make sure we back him up and ourselves fully, there is no time to sit by and watch the Flintstones and eat Twinkies.
Ron, ask the CIA how number of times our respected friends have back stabbed the U.S.. Ask them why South Korea is clearly backstabbing the u.s.. South Korea is exporting nuclear material to the middle east and it has shipped weapons to rogue middle east nations. North Korea does the same. South Korea also plans to sell nuclear reactors to middle east countries . South Korea also hates our best companies. Apple recently had to sue a South Korean company to stop it from making ipad copies.

Like all ideal ideas, it assumes the other side shares these values. Nevertheless, Ron Paul has a basic approach to government that is more sustainable that the approach that has been applied in the past by both Democrats and Republicans. Unfortunately, his approach is doomed because the present approach is supported by too many powerful interests to be changed simply by electing a different president. Obama was expected to make changes as well but he was also stopped by the same powers.

He would be elected in within one and the same RepubliCrat system that exists as a perfect ploy set to fool the people that they are actually "having a democracy"...
While every president in decades now served one and the same interests, with only irrelevant rhetoric that differed, those who even thought of changing anything were quite fast deterred by being aware of the fact what happened to that last guy who attempted the change.
@Orthodoxcrusader I agree with you on everything you said except the Ron Paul bit. He has been trying to warn the people of the Fed and big government for years. His voting record is also spotless when compared with the constitution. Before lumping him in with the 99% of crooks in D.C. you may want to take a closer look. You may find that he is worth supporting. Thank you for your comment and for spreading awareness of our "RepublicCrat" <--(I like this) system.
Hell; Why not fighting for the replacement of the old with a new system?
The power structures have grown exponentially and literally beyond comprehension(Can you imagine how one trillion dollars look if packed into 100 dollar bills? I can't...) since JFK.
Look what Obama was saying before he was elected.
And look what he did - Continued down the path of his predecessors.
@Orthodoxcrusader Well, he is running as GOP because he has always been a republican. He's served 12 terms as a republican senator. He also started the tea party movement which is rooted in the republican party. To switch parties would mean splitting votes which would make it much more difficult for him to win. He has fought for reform and does want to throw out our current system. His campaign was more about spreading awareness much like you are. He may actually have a shot to win now though!
I'm questioning why he's running for the GOP referring to it being futile in within the system itself...
It wouldn't change a slightest if he ran for the Democrats...
GOP and Dems are intrinsically one in the same, while only(as I've mentioned) the rethorics that doesn't make any real nor significant change is what's different and is intentionally overdrawn to absurd in order to create an illusion of difference and therefore an illusion of the people having it all in their hands and control...
@Orthodoxcrusader I understand what you are referring to. The "two sides of one coin" "two wings of the same bird" I get it and I agree. The answer I gave in response still stands though. I agree he is potentially putting his life on the line, the last man to speak up was JFK and we all know how that ended. Trust me I'll take it to the streets. TheBalls won't run and hide. Just hope an Orthodox Crusader will be there with me to take our country back from the men behind the curtain.
LOL! I for sure won't be with you there, as I don't live in the US.
I'm just a worried spectator form the outside aware that without the USA taking the road of a positive and radical change the World will not be able to move forward...
And also aware that if it continues rushing the old road and slam in the reinforced concrete wall at it's other end, that we're all going to down...
@SuperGimom It's disappointing that you read that comment string and only felt compelled to find something negative to say. The trivial fact of whether or not he created the tea party movement was not the the point of what I wrote. If it pleases you, I admit that Ron Paul did not "create" the Tea Party movement, but his views are closely aligned. He also had tea party support as early as 08. That is what I was trying to convey. If you'd like to educate please do so. I would be interested.

@Orthodoxcrusader Again sir I agree with you. May I also add that Ron Paul had to practically be begged by his supporters to run again this year. Ron Paul knows and is against everything you've just stated below. He knows the stakes. Please do some more research on him as I believe you could be a very valuable supporter if you could ever get behind him. I just hope you use your knowledge to spread activism and not defeatism. I very much respect what you have to say.
And I'm aware that Ron paul has been marginalized...
By both the MSNBC and FOX...
That might be hinting something...
That if he get's elected, US will have an another presidential assassination at "best"(bitterly said "best", as potentially[although I doubt; I was skeptic with Obama and it turned out I was right] maybe an attempt for change that will never happen)...
Defeatism is the very false notion that you can change it voting in a boot by clicking one out of two names...
Defeatism is the inherently absurd logic that you can change the work of an engine by shifting gears - Of course you can; But only in a way the machine is in advance projected to be changed(transmission level 1, 2, 3, 4, 5; And the machine in question has 2 gear systems for a single gear).
The path to victory is ONLY voting on the streets; Smash the machine and start rebuilding!
@mokamo23 Haha fair enough, but I just copiedthat from somewhere else and really didn't want to re-write it in all lower case (a bit busy). I hate when people scream at my eyes too though ;-)

Australian here, Ron Paul has my respect, be lucky America, you have a leader or potential leader with the qualities that this man has, our political system is a joke.
a great way to spread Ron Paul's message is if we all get together on facebook and build a buzz around these inspirational videos. I have 700 facebook friends and i always look like the black sheep when i make a post. If i can get about 10-20 ron paul supporters to friend request me on facebook and we like each others fb status updates it creates a buzz and americans love not being left out when it comes to buzz's...send me a youtube message in my inbox to add you and lets make the effort guys!
As usual americans can't tell the difference between communism, which always fails, and socialism, which usually works (northern Europe). It would be like saying that capitalism and corporatism are the same.
Political science is considered a social science I believe. Richard Feynman teaches us that social science is not really a science at all, for there is no laws in social science, its all just theory.
Im glad he finally took the initiative to make a personal video detailing his views since he cant say one bad thing about our current state in the media or else he gets silenced
@Spicabibi thats true i just saw on stock market news and one guy started talking about things going on and he was shut off, only some one who could understand him before they shut him off. there is no constitiution and idiots think there is
We all know the White House is run by special interests that won't allow Ron Paul to become president. Obama will win again because the special interests want their cash coming in for 4 more years.
@Elmgren76 that maybe true, but that will piss off some guys some day enough to blow up another plane, which will be very sad for us. That's another reason to participate in the election.
@tomanyasses Yup, that's probably true. George Soros, who funded his 2008 campaign, is probably gearing up for next year's onslaught of propaganda. The media is in on it, Oprah and the Hollywood elite (bar Vince Vaughn) will do whatever it takes to get him reelected.
All empires eventually crumble under their own weight. We have no right to "police" the globe...we can't even get our own house in order! Ron Paul is our only chance to bring our country back from the brink of self-destruction. It's PAUL or the FALL! Ron Paul 2012!
Ok, I see your point, but we kind of screwed that one up, so how do we get from mutually assured destruction to respect? People will hate the US for quite a while, even if we change policies.
Also, one key difference between radical Islam (or any radical for that matter), and the USSR, is that one group is suicidal, the other isn't.
the US is the most fucked up country allowing retards run to run their country who openly rejects science! I wonder whether ron paul or any other US President that rejects evolution can keep a straight face when having a vaccine or antibiotics! talk about biting the hand that feeds you.
Ron Paul sounds presidential and would be truly deserving of a peace prize, unlike Obama who is currently working on opening a military base in the Seychelles and dropping drones all over the middle east. Honestly as a mother of a young son, Ron Paul is the only candidate i could rely on not to commit my son to future useless wars and occupations. As an american, Ron Paul is my only hope!
Flawed economic theory is socialism? I have free health care, free education, free higher education, working welfare and much more and my country has a national debt of 40 %.. some things Ron Paul says isn't true!
Beautiful ! Thank you for that speech .Our next President Congressman Dr. Ron Paul.

There are only the 53% who work and produce to support the 47% who are lazy bastards sleeping in parks bitching about the 1% instead of trying to become the 1%.
malagaent 2 months ago
@malagaent Where in this Video did Ron say "We don't need our nuclear arsenal."? He is saying, The USSR has 30,000 Nukes, They threatened to wipe us out, And had the capability to do it, But did we attack them? No, And they were our biggest threat in our history, We talked to them. Were the only country to ever use a Nuke on another.
His policy is simple. Don't go overseas using force to tell other how to live, we would object to it here, And there going to object to us over there.
IBloodSweatTears 2 months ago
@IBloodSweatTears
As for communism, well...
malagaent 2 months ago
@malagaent There is is again. This American Superiority complex. You act as if America is the Alpha & the Omega, The Beginning & the end. WE DON'T RUN THE WORLD, The constitution does not give us the authority to run the world. We don't have some God given right to have the strongest Military & Economy, and use it to dominate the world. The US was not created to be an Empire, but it has become one, 900 Bases in 140 Country's? That's not an empire?
IBloodSweatTears 2 months ago
@IBloodSweatTears
Untrue. You both say the US is an empire, again, untrue (except the ideological & economic part) which ISN'T a problem.
malagaent 2 months ago
@malagaent The United States itself, was an IDEA, This was much more powerful than war. Even you just said "except the ideological part". You clearly don't understand your History, The U.S.S.R collapse was Economical, They BANKRUPTED themselves. If they would have been sound financially they would still be here today.
I want this country to prosper as the founder did, But there vision was not for us to be "Sole Policeman, Sole National Builder, And King of the world."
IBloodSweatTears 2 months ago
@malagaent And lastly, I'm not some outsider, I live in this country, and have all my life, But what authority do we have to tell others how to live? I think we are an exceptional nation, Be we should never impose our goodness on others.
Paul said it best when he said, "We should show other that freedom works threw example, and maybe they will try to emulate us."
We don't have a right to dominate the world in anyway, Our military in for the Defense of this country & it's people.
IBloodSweatTears 2 months ago
@malagaent He is saying an Idea, peace & diplomacy, is much better for us than Murder, guns, bribes, and unconstitutional wars. If you do a little studying you would know diplomacy is what got us out of that situation, not going to war.
Paul policy's would lead to real peace & prosperity. So... Nation building, policing the world, telling others how to live, buying friendships, and taking away our own liberty with things such as the Patriot act is the way to go...

And peace.
yabaworld 3 months ago
@yabaworld I know my comment barely made any sense. The US has been getting into other countries for 100 years to control them slightly to make sure they don't rise up and attack us. That's logical to want to do that. But the harder way is to simply make friends. If we have a strong army & become untouchable, we can sit at home and take care of ourselves. We just need to make sure we can grow enough food to support ourselves, then our time can be spent improving & inventing.
yabaworld 3 months ago
@yabaworld How is someone that wants to take the power away from the corporatist state by ending subsidies, special deals and by even the playing field between American based businesses and giant multinationals? No, you've got it all wrong. You have only too look at TARP and supporters of a opaque Federal Reserve to find the real corporatist .
cornas47 2 months ago 2
@cornas47 i'm not saying that his views are corporatist. But if I was a big corporation and I thought that one day people may wake up and vote for someone who will end corruption, then I would pay to run someone for office who claimed to want to end corruption, but in reality he would be working for me, and the moment he got elected turn around and help my company. So it IS possible he is acting, saying what we want, and really is working for the company.
yabaworld 2 months ago
@yabaworld Except that he's been saying the same thing for 30 years. That's a long time to try to sell something without success... maybe he really means it. Please remember also that lobbyists don't bother trying to buy Ron Paul. He's never been for sale.
mkucstars1 2 months ago
@mkucstars1 But that is the exact point I am trying to make. Maybe he is a backup plan for the lobbyists over the last 30 years. Only Ron Paul himself or his closest friends know if he is honest about it. If I was "the company" running America, I would have some guy like him and keep him around for 30 years just in case americans ever woke up and needed someone like him to vote for. Then the moment he was in he would really work for me just like every other president.
yabaworld 2 months ago
@yabaworld This is synarchist would do & what has in fact been done:
Permit a few officials - like Paul, Kucinich, Nader, Sanders, etc. - on the margins of the political system to prolong the hopes of the few attentive, informed voters who are wise to the unfathomable corruption that runs both parties & the military for the sake of evil corporate geopoltical & financial aims. Use them to prop up the illusion of a representative govt. not fully rigged & then tear them down w/ silence & smears.
musicalidea 1 month ago
@mkucstars1 Do you not think the people in power over everything are smart enough to do something like this? They have to be intelligent to get there. Of course they have backup plans for everything. And I think if Ron Paul wins it will be because he is helped by the media, and good intentioned or not, his views will leave Americans to fend for themselves because the companies think they have a good enough hold to rule from the borders. And an excuse to start WWIII

While I am a STRONG Ron Paul supporter, there were two parts I didn't like.
1) "Unless our national bankruptcy brings us to our knees, and FORCES us to bring our troops home."
2) "Unilateral American dominance."
First off America has vast amounts of undocumented, untapped resources within it's population. We will not be FORCED. We should do it willingly.
Second, unilateral American dominance is a good thing, as long as the people are in charge ;)

@Tychristofferson do you really think that if other countrys had the power usa has they wouldnt take over just like usa does
tomanyasses 5 months ago
@Tychristofferson Your second point is so wrong-minded I can't even stress it enough. We are not some moral barometer by which the rest of the world should be forced to live. We should just focus on making our country better then allow people to pick up on that idea and run with it in their own governments around the world. It's called "leading by example instead of force."

@lTheBallsl
Where does Ron Paul comes from>?
Doesn't matter...
Orthodoxcrusader 5 months ago
@Orthodoxcrusader I agree with you on everything you said except the Ron Paul bit. He has been trying to warn the people of the Fed and big government for years. His voting record is also spotless when compared with the constitution. Before lumping him in with the 99% of crooks in D.C. you may want to take a closer look. You may find that he is worth supporting. Thank you for your comment and for spreading awareness of our "RepublicCrat" <--(I like this) system.

Then why is he running as a GOP candidate?
Why not fighting for reforms?
Hell; Why not fighting for the replacement of the old with a new system?
The power structures have grown exponentially and literally beyond comprehension(Can you imagine how one trillion dollars look if packed into 100 dollar bills? I can't...) since JFK.
Look what Obama was saying before he was elected.
And look what he did - Continued down the path of his predecessors.
They have to much to loose to just let it...
Orthodoxcrusader 5 months ago
@Orthodoxcrusader Well, he is running as GOP because he has always been a republican. He's served 12 terms as a republican senator. He also started the tea party movement which is rooted in the republican party. To switch parties would mean splitting votes which would make it much more difficult for him to win. He has fought for reform and does want to throw out our current system. His campaign was more about spreading awareness much like you are. He may actually have a shot to win now though!
lTheBallsl 5 months ago
I'm questioning why he's running for the GOP referring to it being futile in within the system itself...
It wouldn't change a slightest if he ran for the Democrats...
GOP and Dems are intrinsically one in the same, while only(as I've mentioned) the rethorics that doesn't make any real nor significant change is what's different and is intentionally overdrawn to absurd in order to create an illusion of difference and therefore an illusion of the people having it all in their hands and control...
Orthodoxcrusader 5 months ago
@Orthodoxcrusader I understand what you are referring to. The "two sides of one coin" "two wings of the same bird" I get it and I agree. The answer I gave in response still stands though. I agree he is potentially putting his life on the line, the last man to speak up was JFK and we all know how that ended. Trust me I'll take it to the streets. TheBalls won't run and hide. If it pleases you, I admit that Ron Paul did not "create" the Tea Party movement, but his views are closely aligned. He also had tea party support as early as 08. That is what I was trying to convey. If you'd like to educate please do so. I would be interested.

The structures in question are beyond the law, any law(the US Constitution included).
Let us not forget that we're talking about people responsible for deaths of hundreds of thousands(even more) Americans and millions of others.
We're talking about people who bribed the Congress into every single war since the WWII.
We're talking those who dropped AO on their own and killed who knows how many...
They are all still here.
The liability was washed away simply by the automatic fire from the TV sets.

Conclusion; in the system as it is; any president elected will either be synched with the rest or the gear system, or get recycled...
Ron Paul will be either their man or a dead man...
Orthodoxcrusader 5 months ago
@Orthodoxcrusader Again sir I agree with you. May I also add that Ron Paul had to practically be begged by his supporters to run again this year. Ron Paul knows and is against everything you've just stated below. He knows the stakes. Please do some more research on him as I believe you could be a very valuable supporter if you could ever get behind him. I just hope you use your knowledge to spread activism and not defeatism. I very much respect what you have to say.
lTheBallsl 5 months ago
@lTheBallsl
You need to take it to the streets...
And I don't mean the Tea Party; it's is silly...
The shit gotta go!
Orthodoxcrusader 5 months ago

I hate when people scream at my eyes too though ;-)

a great way to spread Ron Paul's message is if we all get together on facebook and build a buzz around these inspirational videos.

We all know the White House is run by special interests that won't allow Ron Paul to become president. Obama will win again because the special interests want their cash coming in for 4 more years.
Elmgren76 5 months ago
@Elmgren76 that maybe true, but that will piss off some guys some day enough to blow up another plane, which will be very sad for us. That's another reason to participate in the election.

tomanyasses 5 months ago
@tomanyasses Yup, that's probably true. George Soros, who funded his 2008 campaign, is probably gearing up for next year's onslaught of propaganda. The media is in on it, Oprah and the Hollywood elite (bar Vince Vaughn) will do whatever it takes to get him reelected.

@Elmgren76 i hope though someone dont get in that's worse than obama

Very presidential speech and an excellent explanation of the philosophy of non-interventionism that is so desperately needed.
