there is no way ur getting that good of a frame-rate bro! i have the same card the 1gb version with a quad core 2.3 ghz 8 gigs of 800 ram and i don't get anything close to those fps on max possible settings
@Raditz3666 you can run crysis at medium with somethings on high. You hd 4670 must be DDR3 and you must have 4 gb ram to run everything on high/ultra high, you can even play in a bigger resolution if your card is DDR3. Trust me, get 4 GB ram.. It helps the perfomance a lot.I got Core i5 650 3,20 ghz, 4 gb DDR3 and HD 4670 1 GB DDR3, almost the same computer as you. I run crysis at 1440x1280 high/ultra high and AA 2x. i got 28-36 fps
@marfg12345 you got a good computer. And yes, you can run it with high settings without aa, at 1280x1024. But i sugest you to get 4 GB ram to run it on ultra high, maybe with a bigger resolution, and AA. HD 4670 rocks. i got this card and it's really good
I wish my Ati on my laptop wouldn't give a black screen every time I set it at High Quality. i mean, after about 5 min. of gameplay the screen gives me a black screen and i must hold the power button xD... also i have an 1680x1050 res., which is a bit big for a normal sized lapton.... could it be an oveheating problem xD? That's what an expert said, but the core is just about 60 degrees C*. Well, anyone, reply is any solutions. Thanks :P.
@flame0dragon still ultra high would have POM ultra high dynamic shadows and object motion blur def. ultra high is supposed to be a step above very high
Nice!...I have a PowerColor HD4670 PCS 1Gb and also have the E7500 2.93Gz (overclocked to 3Ghz) with 2Gb RAM...didn't think I'd see some one with the same specs as mine! lol
the E7600 is a little bit faster but you could just overclock an E7500.
I have an E7500 overclocked at 3.16Ghz instead of 2.93Ghz factory clock. 32C on air with stock heatsink...using an AsRock 775i65G Revision 2.0 motherboard and a PowerColor ATI HD4670 PCS 1Gb AGP. =)
Upgraded my CPU recently, it was a choice between an Core2Duo E7500 2.93Ghz, E8400 3Ghz or Core2Quad Q6600 2.66Ghz.
buying and overclocking the E7500 saved me money as well as kicks ass. XD
@Haloroach considering you don't need external power supply for this card, @ 59 watts and not all people know alot about psus and end up buying a low end one and can only use low power consumption cards, this is very good. E.G. me! 27 amps on 12 v railing combine @ 500 w total psu power. 12 x 27 = 324 ( I have two rails) And this card runs crysis very well on high, now try running an 5970 on my psu ( I can't buy a new one) Then I end up with a bomb, and burn my house to the ground!
upgrade to a core i7 cpu and a better graphics card, id say anything gtx would prolly play it fairly well but it takes a lot to run it on very high with a large resolution...id also recommend using ddr3...ddr2 is quickly becoming out dated

This game is imposible to play max out, unless you have a GTX580 at least or a SLI of GTX560. But i will sitck with my HD4890 since i can play at Crysis 2 at 1080dpi advance setting at 55-75 fps. @Arlekhine Yeah. Fair enough. I'm running a Radeon HD 6950 2GB & a Phenom II X6 1090T Overclocked with 8GB of DDR3 RAM now so my card can handle Crysis Maxed 8xAA @ 1920x1080 ;)

I have had my HIS 4670 1GB DDR3 IceQ for a week now, and im blown away by the performance difference between it and my previous card. (nvidia gf 8500gt 256mb ddr2)
HD4670 has only 128bit/ddr3 and other clock speed thats why its fast but very low consume of power cause it doesn't require extra PCIe power slot that means more safe and longer lifetime reliable card for modern gaming ..but theres DDR5 version you might wanna get that or the HD4770 which almost same as 9800GT or better and very cheaper..
yeah this is real Ultra HIGH i saw some vids that saying the same thing but its noticeable on water, bloom, blur and lighting..HD4670 is awesome card by the what brand is your card?
great :) well good it works well whit 4670 i increased lighting and shadow quality and render quality, i see that u have good fps, tell me how much fps do u have and resolution u using, lol

thetrialshot 1 year ago
HD 4670 is probably 30% faster, don´t worth to buy it for upgrade...
Go for GT 240 / GTS 250 / GTX 260 or some Ati HD 5xxx.
9500 (32SP128bit) GT 240 (96SP-128bit)
GTS 250 (128SP-256bit) GTX 260 (196SP-384bit)...
GTX 285 (240SP-512bit) GTX 480 (448SP-384bit-DDR5)
Price match the performance at this point, so take god look for prices..
GT 240 - GTS 250 is the way to play PS3-XBOX games.
HD 5870 and GTX 480 is a future proof for PS4 games on the future.

which config do use ?
7Natas7 2 years ago
8600gt /9600gtis better if has 256bit/ddr3
HD4670 has only 128bit/ddr3 and other clock speed thats why its fast but very low consume of power cause it doesn't require extra PCIe power slot that means more safe and longer lifetime reliable card for modern gaming ..but theres DDR5 version you might wanna get that or the HD4770 which almost same as 9800GT or better and very cheaper..
