Downtown Lowell is one place I will hit.....someday.

  • @georgef551 its a nice city, at times

  • @beckwithelevatorman

It's a lot better than what it was 10 years ago.

  • Can you tell me where it is located in the library? I am going there over Christmas and would like to ride it!

  • @airplanegod

It's near the courtyard with the water fountain. There's a door on the right side of one of the walls (other wall has a door in the center). You'll come across a Westy, and next to it, the Concord, if I remember right.

You could do like I did, and just walk all around. That's how I found the 1895 Otis.

  • @georgef551 Thank you very much!

  • @airplanegod

No problem, provided memory served me right. I think it did.

  • And you finally jump on the wheelchair lift bandwagon. I remember when I filmed mine and posted it you said you don't even bother with these. Then DieselDucy, Jimster, Musicfreakcc and Jtelev did the "Brown Rocket". Suddenly it's not such a taboo thing. Yours was impressively quiet on the down trip, I must agree! Mine was noisy both ways.

  • @NEXPAR

I didn't bother, because these things bring attention to those using it, but in actuality, this was my 4'th wheelchair lift.

It all started looking for the "Elusive" Elevator H at Leominster Hospital. Found it was the wheelchair lift in another buidling, and I wanted to say I rode ALL the lifts there. I kept going from there.

  • This one is Hydro. much like a forklift.

  • @dieselducy

Someone beat you to it. :)

I noticed when I replayed the video.

So is how my videos go. Know nothing during the shoot, figure things out after. :)

  • That was cool.

  • Unlike most wheelchair lifts, this one is hydraulic drive. Most are screw drive, which is SO QUIET :P
