You can hear the difference in the band between the two songs. They are much crisper in the earlier performance. What's especially conspicuous is the difference in Alexi's voice. Bodom used to be spot on in their live performances, sounding just like how they do on the album. They started degrading though in the "Follow the Reaper" period. (It's no coincidence the second, later performance was in 2001, right in that same time period.) Sad. I think it's the constant drinking and smoking.

actually he switched cuz he needed a guitar asap, and jackson wouldnt do it until a year. but yeah they are almost equally good. IMO jackson has a fuller tone.
