@dylanj16 Matthew O'Sullivan is the VO guy who's done current/recent VO's for 60 Minutes, Nine News and ACA (he's also the old Channel Seven VO) For your interest, Simon Westaway is the current VO for Seven News and some general promos for the network its self.

Good to see the old Channel Seven VO doing the news intros in Melbourne. Hope he's going to do Sydney's sooner or later. I like him as a reporter, (when he isn't doing "Puff Pieces") but Peter Harvey's news intro VO's are terrible! Also, how long until Nine News Melbourne gets a Sydney style opening titlecard? Can't be long now considering there's no titlecard in this video.

@SydneyCityTVideos I don't think they will in Melbourne - they stopped using the original opener graphic earlier this year. I think it's probably due to Seven News Melbourne also having no opener at the moment. The voice overs in Melbourne are all over the place at the moment (this is the fifth different VO person they have used this year!). At one point Peter Hitchener, Jo Hall and Tony Jones each had a different person doing their 'This is Nine News with....'

When Ian Ross first joined Seven News I saw a video where it started off as this VO Man saying "This is Seven News" then the new man they use currently said "With Ian Ross" ? LP
