Hi there! I hope you get to visit her home. I would love to see it one day, too... though, as I mentioned, I am at this time in my life rather hermitted and do not travel much. I do not think I have a recording of me singing Dickinson. I might have a recording of me singing Whitman, though. It would be on cassette though, and rather old... and I would have to figure out how to transfer that to CD then to Youtube... so some hoops... I do love singng artsongs with wonderful poets as the text!

I have sung her poetry set to music, and in my later life, I am rather like her, seldom leaving the house, creating a great deal in my room. So, I enjoyed this. Emily Dickinson is one of my favorite poets.Its sad that she dropped out of college and that she may have suffered from an anxiety disorder. She didn't leave the house much.
I'm glad you all enjoyed this! I took a class on her in college and really grew to admire her. I hope to pay a visit to her home one day soon. And I found the music to be quite appropriate...titled, "Lonely for Her"...but that's my taste in music!

The photography and information are fascinating and superb! Very grateful to find this.
That AWFUL music is not at all suitable for Emily Dickinson, she would turn in her grave with disgust if she heard that.
