0:02 I love how they're supposed to be at "summer" camp but there are no leaves on the trees. Horror movies are famous for filming off-season. In the original Friday the 13th it was "summer" at Camp Blood but the leaves had started to turn for autumn.

Yes it's so sad when Betsy gets pulled away in the beginning. How did they do that? You can see her grabbing something around her midsection that's pulling her back through the water. San Antonio in February 1978 is apparently pretty warm because it's so far south and mild climated, mild enough to swim and for a lot of greenery.
