Ich denke darüber nach mir einen Mediacenterpc selbst zu bauen. Die Ion-Platform wära für mich ideal. Mein einziges Problem: Hat die Ion-Unit PCI oder PCI-E Slots oder irgendeine andere Möglichkeit z.B. eine tv-kare damit zu verbinden.

jsut imagine street fighter 4 on a netbook, forget a psp or dsi. that would be sick. you could be on a plain with a xbox 360 pc controller playing street fighter.. i cant wait untill this platform is the net book standard

you can tell that the game play was laggy as hell,but the blu-ray play back was fine. this might be better for a netbook for gamers.

ion is old now.wots next for nvidia and the intergrated graphics. i mean how many times does nvidia come out with graphics cards each year,and they only put out 1 intergrated card lol at least ion can do wot everyone wants it to do for such a small footprint.

They can work with Intel or Via platforms so yeah you don't need Intel for it :) and since most of the things are done on the Ion and not the processor so even a Via is pretty good.

Yeah, i think Shotta2545 doesn't really understand what this product is build with.

The, may i say rediculously, small form factor motherboard had not only the new nVidia ION GPU (which is build from the great geforce 9400) but also has a Intel Atom dual core cpu on it.

well to be fair his statement still stands, considering that the new ION platform is trying to get rid of the integrated intel graphics that is currently the standard on nettops/netbooks.

but with his comment about intel being to pricey does make u think he is refering to their cpu's

yeha vid and audio are out of sync, look at the one from the show with the Nvidia rep playing CoD4, very nice little box for a price point from acer starting around 299.

I hope they'll adopt the Ion platform for netbooks soon. With the kind of performance in video rendering and gaming in a small form factor the Ion has, I'm sure this will give the mainstream notebooks a run for their money.
