better than some of the wonderful Hollywood movies both in terms of the quality of VFX and storyline?? surely not. But what we can acknowledge is the ability of the director to take a plot entirely scientific and relate it to daily life of an average Indian (Tamil). Graphics are good in patches and thats simply becos of budget and time constraints and the work ethics of the indian film industry. A prior knowledge of the south indian culture wud help a lot in understanding a lot of sub-plots.
the movie looks completely crazy... all the action, effects all crazy... I laughed at those parts of crazy action... but... it was a very good movie talking about the plot, and yeah the trailer showed didn't showed important parts of the movie like american trailers and the effects weren't as great as Avatar's, but they were very good

What's strange to me is the astonishing levels of stupidity Indian filmgoers tolerate. It's as if this film was written for very small children, but the subject matter is somewhat adult at times. I could see it as a piece of absurdist comedy, but it's clear the filmmakers wanted the audience to take it seriously.

Robot falls in love and kidnaps here are ridiculous and idiotic. Our filmmakers are completely idiots. Hollywood does make crappy movies but on other side, they deliver quality movies like Inception, the social network. What's strange to me is the astonishing levels of stupidity Indian filmgoers tolerate. It's as if this film was written for very small children, but the subject matter is somewhat adult at times. I could see it as a piece of absurdist comedy, but it's clear the filmmakers wanted the audience to take it seriously.
