in the very beggining, when they were fighting the monster, this guy opened up a spell circle under the monster and up came a blast of energy that owned the thing. in the ned he was covered with those bats, tried to blast them off but he was eaten alive and died. thats all i remember about him

No, i think his hands had some nerve damage but while trying to find a cure he realized that he had a greater purpose in the world.he had a sister in the movie but i don't remember him having one in the comics. His sister needed an opertation on her brain that no doctor would do. They said that if she was to go into surgery she would die. He studied to be a doctor and performed on her and she died on his table. I'M GLAD YOU ENJOYED IT!
