Your stages are wrong. The heavier atoms needed for life were not available until long after the big bang, not until large stars had gone thru a life cycle and had re-formed into our sun. Where's that stage? Another example: photons are not what matter is made of. Photons are just another boson, one of several fundamental subatomic particles, and were not present at the beginning of the big bang. The actual building blocks of matter are (probably) super-tiny strings, not light.

There's no point in arguing about which religion is correct, as it's not like you can convert a Islamic person into a Christian with one message or vice versa. My personal opinion is that the idea of God was generated as an explanation for the unexplainable. However, science has recently explained some of the things people thought God was responsible for.
