@idiotsatfullvolume I'd get them in pairs because they can get lonely, UNLESS of course you absolutely intend to play or be with it at least once EVERY day which in my opinion almost impossible for so many people cause honestly who can really guarantee something like that so getting them in pairs makes sure that if you cant play with them for a day or two at least they have another sugar glider buddy to play with ^_^ but its good to make sure they are the same gender unless you want baby gliders

@Skittywolf they can cost from 300-1000 dollars mattering on fur color. they need a cage, maybe 4-5ft tall per glider, they need pouches, food, and someone who can spend ALOT of time with them. they are nocturnal and usually live with others. i'd advise you to invest in more than one glider. its been known that one single glider can die of depression/lonelyness without a buddy.

I'd comment on how cute he is, but I've never seen a sugar glider that wasn't adorable. We used to have one when I was younger, but I want one of my own someday that I will properly care for.

Think of it this way: if they see you as the best, safest, place to be, why would they want to be anywhere else? But if they are NOT comfortable with you and don't see you as safe, yes, they'll run away. So if you get one, just know how extremely important it is to start bonding immediately. It can be very detrimental to their health (mental and physical) if you don't.

@mClip10 That's normal, they do it with everything they eat. Their throats are itty bitty, so it makes it hard for them to swallow big chunks. They mash up food in their mouth and the parts they don't swallow get built up in the roof of their mouth. After a few bites, when they've got a lot of food up there, they just spit it out.
