Spiritual truth is a pretty subjective thing, There are hundreds upon thousands of ways to find "enlightenment"... If the goal is peace of mind then many routes are available.. if th goal is place of meaning then being endocrinernated and given meaning is a pathway. Not saying it the only way, but there are always better choices one can make to have meaning or peace. for me, having accepted being a minuscule part of something so much bigger then my own vanity has given me that peace.

Anyone who sincerely seeks will see that Christianity started about 32 A.D. and the Nicene council was held about 325 A.D. Interestingly, the basics of Christianity are contained in the Old Testament too (which is part of the "Christian Bible" you rail against). We have sections of the New testament dating earlier than 325 A.D. as well. Anyone can research these things. I wonder why you "rail" vs. search?

You are misquoting the Jew, Jesus. He said in Rev.2:9 "...I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan". Jesus clearly says there that those in the "synagogue of Satan" " are not Jews". They are not the real "Jews" as Yeshua would define them. After all, the Apostle Paul considered himself to be Jewish and a Christian ( Romans 11:1, phil. 3:5).

Yes, the Church (those who have been born again into a relationship with Jesus), are the Israel of God. But one doesn't need to be part of the "Orthodox" church to be saved. The "church" are those who have been born again into Jesus (see Romans 10:9,10) who believe the gospel and follow Jesus. God continues to work with Jews to the end.

In Ezekial 36:19, 24 (written about 2,500 years ago) God says He has scattered the Israelites among the heathen, but He will bring the Israelites back to their land. God is clearly referring to the end times because he says he will give them a clean heart. When the Jews who survive the latter days attack on Israel see Jesus, they will mourn and be saved - Zechariah 12:9,10).

The Jewish scriptures prophesied of Jesus. Chapter 53 of Isaiah speaks of someone coming to die for the sins of Israel who was to be rejected by Israel. The chapter is a perfect description of Jesus. Some of the Isaiah Dead Sea Scrolls we now have may have been held in Jesus own hands. In Isaiah 9:6 it calls the coming child "El Gibbor" or the mighty God. In Isaiah 49:6 it calls the Messiah "..a light to the gentiles" And God's salvation. In 49:8 it calls this person a "covenant". See Jer.31:31

Isaiah 53 written about 700 yrs. before Jesus birth states that a "righteous servant" (v.11) is coming who will both voluntarily die for Israel's sins (v.12), plus be condemned by judgement (v.8) He has no deceit (v.9) has committed no violence (v.9) yet his death pleases G-d (v.10) He is rejected by many (v.3). Since the nation Israel is deceitful (Is. 48:1, etc.) the "he" refers to a man. Only Jesus fulfilled these.

Hmm. "Entertainment" for the bible believer is supposed to consist of being involved with the word of God in some fashion. You KNOW it's the mindset you are to work on achieving if you spend any amount of time in Paul's writings. You leave the "old man" behind and quit fooling with the media. It's junk for the most part.
